Vol. 2... even better
Review of Put Your Hands Up Vol.2 - Various Artists by MVP017

Advantages: Good tracks, bonus material
Disadvantages: A few too many mixes

Have already rated the previous album (put your hands up vol.1) and many of my points apply to this album aswell. After continually listening to the first album i decided to buy this one aswell and again i was not disappointed. There is again a brilliant mix of tracks over 3 CD's including several remixes and club mixes such as that of Camille Jonesvs Fedded le Grande-The Creeps (club mix). This i believe to be one of the best but there are 62 other ... Read review

Ibiza Annual 2007 - Various Artists
Review of Ibiza Annual 2007 - Various Artists by Leeroy17

Advantages: The word IBIZA in the title! Some really good tracks on here.
Disadvantages: None

...brilliant. By Ministry of sound, Ibiza Annual 2007 brings you three cd's of fresh, uplifting funky house from the last year. Cd1 gets off to a good start with Robyn's great track With Every Heartbeat. Big hits from Freeks, Booty Luv and Yves Larock follow and some more house tracks that are not as commercial which is a good thing, all in all a good 1st disc. CD2 begins with Armand's rework of Degrees of motion's Do You Want It Right Now? Which is ...
...Ronson Stop me follow, again more underground tracks finish the mix and a good mix it is to. Finally cd3 is pretty solid Samin Heater is great check it out, was surprised to see Greece 2000 Three Drives here this remix sounds alomost the same as the original to me. I would definatley recommend this CD to every party animal on the planet! ... Read review

A Must-get Annual for Electronic Lovers.
Review of Annual 2008, The [Digipak] - Various Artists by nikolas_syrimis

Advantages: Amazing music, contains unmixed disc of mash ups.
Disadvantages: None

Yet again, another amazing Annual from the Ministry of Sound. 54 outstanding tracks from a variety of artists all jam-packed into one annual. This Annual consists of tracks recently or throughout the year and put into a album for people to reflect on in the next year. Such tracks as Sanim - Heater had recently been released and made it's way onto the Annual because of it's excellence. Here is the CD listing CD 1 - 1. Sanim - Heater 2. Ida Corr ...
...of Sound. Overall, this Annual contains many decent tunes that you, your mates and club go-getters will absoluetly adore. My favourite of the Annual has to be on CD 3, Track 8 which is Joey Negro - Make A Move On Me (Acappella) vs Soul Seekerz - Electric Shock 2005. The piano within Electric Shock 2005 makes me want to dance non-stop. I had this song on repeat I think it was 52 times and not one did I get bored. *smiles* A must-buy for any dance ... Read review

Banner Gittin' Buck
Review of Certified (Parental Advisory) [PA] - David Banner by XICripZ

Advantages: Lots of variety
Disadvantages: A few weaker tracks

"Certified" is the fourth album from the Mississippi rapper David Banner. I thought that I had to go back seeing that I enjoyed his latest 2008 release, "The Greatest Story Ever Told" so much, so I thought that I would see similar quality from this 2005 piece, which has him do both the rapping and a fair proportion of the production. 1. "Lost Souls" To get things going we drive straight into some straight Dirty South rap. I found that he was effective ...
...wislt managing ito integrate his influences of Rock into things with some guitar work too. **Three Stars** 2. "Treat Me Like A" (feat. Jadakiss) I still don't get how Jadakiss keeps thinking he can on some Crunk beats, but he does it once again as Lil' Jon does the production, and aside the parts which Jada takes up, it is a strong Hip Hop cut for the clubs. **Four Stars** 3. "Gangsta Walk" (feat. Three 6 Mafia, Marcus, 8Ball & MJG) On this one ... Read review
