Teh End Of The Road
Review of Let The Sun Shine In/Cream Of The Crop - Diana Ross & The Supremes by
IanPhillips
Advantages: The beautiful Someday We'll Be Together
Disadvantages: Too many mediocre tracks
Diana Ross And The Supremes Let The Sunshine In album was released in mid 1969. It had originally been titled No Matter What Sign You Are and posters promoting the album were sent to record stores with that title. For some reason it was hastily re-titled Let The Sunshine In and advertising promotion for the album changed accordingly. Tamla Motown Records always had a conveyor belt way of recording tracks by Diana Ross and the Supremes (and indeed ... ...vaults and assembled for the Let The Sunshine In (1969) LP. Let The Sunshine In (1969) opens with a song written and produced by the genius Smokey Robinson. Titled The Composer it all the more surprisingly seemed to lack the immediacy and spark of their previous hit singles though was still curiously catchy in its own way. Hardly one of their best efforts though, The Composer endured only moderate record sales, creeping it's way into the lower reaches ...

Now Hit The Dance Floor
Review of Beat'n Down Yo Block [PA] - Unk by
XICripZ
Advantages: All the dance tracks are of the highest quality
Disadvantages: Lyrics aren't the best
...1. Intro
2. Beat'n Down Yo Block
I felt that there were similarities between this track and others which artists from the region have come out with. The closest track to it for me is Jibbs' "King Kong", as these both refer to the booming sound which their cars make as they enter a neighbourhood. I felt that it was a good way to introduce the album as Unk tells you that the LP should be played so the whole street can hear it. **Four Stars**
3. ... ...heard from Unk, way back in 2006, and as I had just got into the Snap form of rap after hearing a little Soulja Boy and Dem Franchize Boyz, this played up to exactly what I wanted to here; a big dance track from Atlanta. it seems as though if you make a dance rap track in any of the big southern cities of the US, and accomplany it with an actual dance; , you are bound to do well. This is the case with this track as it blew up the clubs in the Dirty ...

CHEMICALLY IMBALANCED...LOVE ITTTT!!!!
Review of Chemically Imbalanced [PA] - Ying Yang Twins by
emak1990
Advantages: Amazing!
Disadvantages: ...
I love the Ying Yang twins and this album is yet another success. The songs are a mixture of hip hop and gangster rap. Thier very distinctive voices make them different to other artists of the same genre. 'Dangerous' was the first song released from this album and my all time favourite, It features the vocal talent of Wyclef Jean. The subject of their songs are mainly strippers and women therefore there is some bad launguage although i believe you ...

That's Just How They Do It In The A
Review of ATL Project, The - ATL by
XICripZ
Advantages: A couple of nice R&B tracks
Disadvantages: Sounds manufactured
"The ATL Project" is the debut album from the R&B group ATL. Trč, Will, L-Rock, Danger came together in a local talent search in Atlanta, Georgia, the name of this contest is the reason for the choice in the title for the album, and their name comes from the city where they are all based. Despite the contest spanning only as far as this one city in the south of the US, their sound mangaged to reach out to the UK and even get the a top 25 single. ... ...4. Let Me
ATL performs this well-written love song to come out with some nice reults. I thought that although the lyrics were nice and thought-provoking, the opening for it was far too similar to K-Ci & Jjo's "All my Life", and as that is my favourite R&B ballard I don't really like anyting which attmpts to rip aspects from it. **Three Stars**
5. It's Us (feat. Ciara)
I thought that this track let the group down quite considerably as apart from ...

Review of Ministry Of Sound Chilled 1991-2008 - Various Artists by
ygrant7
Advantages: quite relaxing and catchy tunes
Disadvantages: few monotonous tracks
...the track. my favourite track without a doubt is "clubbed to death by rob dougan". such a good tune. i always thought of ministry of sound as dance and techno but this cd was quite "chilling" and i havnt stopped listening to it- skipping the few annoying tracks of course! ...
