Advantages: Lots of big tunes Disadvantages: One average tune
...you tend to connect with Christmas time. **Four Stars** 3.“Dana Dane Is Coming To Town” - Dana Dane Here we get a funky jam that I really can't see any rooms for complaints in as we find that Dana Dane comes in with some storytelling rhymes that seem to take on all that Slick Rick was known for (even though he didn't debut as a solo artist until the year after this). He comes out with flows which have him telling a rather straight-forward tale that ... ...making good use of past Christmas song samples to help him as he does his thing. **Five Stars** 7.“He's Santa Claus” - Disco 4 Starting off with a little “Jingle Bells” (as just about ever other on this album up to this point) we see that we get a track that soon changes its direction as the cold beats come into effect and the rappers in the crew come to do their thing by all giving each other a chance to lay down their own stuff on the mic(rophone) ...
Advantages: Lots of bangers Disadvantages: Not as fresh as his debut
“The Biz Never Sleeps” was the second solo album from ‘The Diabolical’ Biz Markie, as in 1989 the rapper (who is also known for his beatboxing abilities) came with a record to keep the flow going for Cold Chillin’ Records as many of their acts (such as Big Daddy Kane, Roxanne Shanté and MC Shan) were all doing big things at the time, and with this he would be seen to continue this as the New Yorkers brought one of his most well-known comedy raps ... ...dark beats, ones which alter the way he approaches the mic(rophone) and gets busy with it (compared to on his debut). I wouldn’t say that this is a negative, but it takes a while to adapt to these alterations in the artist’s style. **Five Stars** 3. “The Dragon” On this one you find tha the does things on top of some pounding beats and so it seems to carry through the same sort of things which came across in the track prior to it in that he seems ...
Advantages: Real Gangsta Rap Disadvantages: Very extreme. Lots of interludes
Released in 1995, "Season of da Siccness" is the debut album from the Sacramento, Crip rapper, Brotha Lynch Hung. The West Coast-er brings some hardcore Gangsta Rap for the listners on this album, and it is apart of the reason why he never achieved any wide-spread success, apart from within the underground circuit close to him. He did release an album prior to this, as early as 1989 with his currently-incarcerated brother Sicx, as an early example ... ...Break" (Intro) 2. "Dead Man" (Lude) 4. "Rest In Piss" You must already get a sense of what this rapper when you read the title of this one ...

...2006 and came as a Christmas album from Funk legend Bootsy Collins (known for his work as a bassist in The J.B.'s, Funkadelic, Parliamnet and Boosty Collins' Rubber Band). It finds him bringing his own P-Funk twist on a variety of Christmas hits in that style as well as Hip Hop and Soul as we get him producing and singing with guest appearances from Gary Shider, Fred Wesley, Bernie Worrell and Snoop Dogg. 1.“N-Yo-City” Starting the album we see that ... ...**Four Stars** 2.“Merry Christmas Baby” Here we find that we get a track that brings the Funk out in a way that you really wouldn't have ben able to anticipate (even with the introductory cut) as we see that here we have synth joining some live instrumental bass work from his brother Catfish Collins, and Boosty himself makes his first apparent on the record by coming to deliver a fly hook and half-developed verses that take you back to the times ...
Advantages: Great quality music, lots of songs to suit your mood Disadvantages: Couple of poor songs, controversial if you're not into this music
...Movie World of Reviews. The Eminem Show is probably the only album I feel I know well enough to write about, so here goes. Rap artist Eminem has been around for over a decade now. He burst into the hiphop/rap scene and created massive controversy and faced ridicule for being a white rapper, fighting against all the black artists such a P. Diddy, D12, Jay-Z, 50 Cent and Dr. Dre, just to name a few. He began his music life releasing The Slim Shady ... ...Slim Shady, another nickname. Eminem released The Eminem Show in 2002. It sold over a million copies very quickly, and was a bit more playful than his latest two albums (mentioned above). The Slim Shady/Marshall Mathers LPs were very serious, about guns, suicide, killing, how much he hates his mum and family and wants them dead (not nice..), and how he hated other artists. The Eminem Show's first released single was 'Without Me'. In the video of ...
