Busta - makes a big bang
Advantages: consitant album, good beats, thought out lyrics, good use of feature artists Disadvantages: the one classic song, although "dont get carried away" is close
Before this album, i couldnt really get into any of bustas old albums anywhere near what id liked to have. But this album was an instant hit with me and has high plays on my itunes! It has the "club" classics such as "touch it" and "I love my bit*h" that are catchy songs but for the slightly more commercial end of the spectrum for hip hop fans. The album features some great beats, with my favourites been, "Been through the storm" (featuring stevie ... ...the fall offs" and "dont get carried away". The latter been my favourite song on the album, it features Nas, one of the games greats and the production is by Dre, also one of the games legends! the song its catchy whilst not been commercial maintaining its "respect" so to speak with the "real" hip hop fans.
The album has the right blend of catchy songs, awesome beats and well thought out and flowed lyrics. It features stevie wonder who would be ...

Busta boring
Advantages: good for the fans Disadvantages: bad for all other hip hop fans
The first song on this album isn't pulling any punches: "Ready for Busta Rhymes," they harmonize, "he's the one we've all, been waiting for, forever." Really? That's news to me. Sure, I like the animated motherfucking maniac of rap as much as the next man. In fact, Trevor Smith (that's his real name y'all) was even pretty good as the shit-talking rasta Rasaan in John Singleton's 2000 update of the film "Shaft." Props are due; Busta has come a long ... ...the New School. Taking up acting as a hobby is no excuse for an inconsistant album though. Busta has always had crazy wild energy in his flow and delivery and this album is no exception - what is severly lacking is quality of beats. On a 12 track album this might not be problematic, but it's quite tedious over 22 cuts. Songs like the Jay Dee produced "Enjoy Da Ride" and "Live it Up" are musically functional but not at all exciting. Giving a charismatic ...

Busta's Rebirth
Advantages: A few bangers Disadvantages: Too long
"Genesis" came as the fifth solo album from the New York rapper, Busta Rhymes. It came out in 2001, and as him working alongside some of the best of the time with the likes of The Neptunes, Diddy and Dr. Dre all making appearances on this record. It features some of his best material ever, and I would say it would be the final album he released before he seemingly feel off. 1. "Intro"
2. "Everybody Rise Again"
After a introduction, which featured ... ...to get excited with ascending melodies which build one up in the way which Busta wants as he brings you into a much more lively (but manageable album). it is the right way to start things off, and tell the listener where things are directed. **Three Stars**
3. "As I Come Back" He doesn't mess around for this one as The Neptunes jump on the beats, and display how they have developed since the late nineties with a funky recording which has them use ...

Advantages: All the classics + more Disadvantages: a good buy for all you hip hop heads
Ive had this CD in my collection (and more reciently on my i-pod) for quite some time, it seems to get to the back of the shelf / play list and hide only to catch back up with you on a rainy thursday.
Its packed with all the hits like :
-WOO-HAH! Got You All in Check

A track i had not come into contact with apart from this album ...
