This is a what i would call a groundbreaking album! My first real taste of the rap scene and I loved every beat and lyric of it. A lot of comedy, some commercial and indeed some very dark and perhaps shocking songs; all bursting with intelligent rhymes. Tracks: PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT - Short comedy intro/skit perhaps gives a little taste of what is to come on the rest of the album. ...featuring Dr Dre. BRAIN DAMAGE - Darker song offering something of an insight into Eminem's childhood. PAUL - Brief skit. IF I HAD - One of the more mellow songs on the album. Gritty song reflecting Eminems' 'poor' beginnings. 97 BONNIE AND CLYDE - Very controversial at the time.. a parody of Will Smiths' 'Just the Two of Us' . This was his most anticipated album that he has released to date. the album mainly focused all his attention on attacking George Bush and the war in Iraq, Michael Jackson and of cores Kim and his mum but also most of all himself. In track four the yellow brick road he criticizes himself for insulting a black schoolmate. "No matter what color a girl is / she still has a soul," he sings. But also he shows his more caring and loving side in the song ...
...trouble thats come his way in the past and hi is singing to his daughter Haily throughout. If you look in the book it still has all the song words in it like the previous three albums but this book has pictures throughout of him and his gun. although its a bit goary it shows that even thou his songs arnt as loud and offencive as in his past albums he still sees himself as the big man and in charge. This album is amazing it has the hardcore beats we expect from darren styles that attract the hardcore ravers. He has done something very different this time it feels less "chavy", but still keeping its hardcore beats, its an album that is so diverese I mean you can go rave your raver bum off in the club going mad, but you can also listen to it whilst laid on your bed relaxing, or even driving to work . ...final) single from the album, 3LW contiuned exactly the type of things which were heard in their first song, "No More" with a mash-up of muscal genre, similar to that of the first. 3LW also sing on themes which overlap, but at times they conttradict much of what was said in "No More" as they now accept why men sometimes act as they do, instead of blaming them like before. **Four Stars** 4.
