Here's ANOTHER greatest hits...the best yet
Review of Essential Michael Jackson, The - Michael Jackson by kimbahop

Advantages: Practically every song a classic, includes Jackson 5
Disadvantages: Yet another greatest hits

I think that as pop music goes, Michael Jackson is simply the best there is. You only have to listen to this and realise that practically EVERY on it is a classic. Some of these songs are 20, 30 years old but they still sound fresh and arent dated at all. Michael Jackson appeals to everyone, rock fans, rap fans, and young people who weren't even born at the height of his fame. One of the best things about this is that it includes the best known ...
...it on the boogie' and 'Can you feel it' all stand out as amazing, catchy pop songs and 'Ben' is simply gorgeous, even if it is about a rat. I'm sorry, but 'He rocks in the treetops all day long' has got to be my favourite lyric of all time. But the real substance of course comes from all of those unforgettable hits The first CD goes through his career up to 'Thriller' and features the best song of the two CDs 'Dont stop til you get enough' the ultimate ... You Got Served
Review of You Got Served (Original Soundtrack) - Various Artists by Mindy0416

Advantages: Nice songs
Disadvantages: Not much variety

The music goes well the movie, but there isn't a lot of variety from song to song. "Do That Thing" and "Take it to the Floor" almost sound alike, the beat and the lyrics seem to flow together. The ballads, such as "Sprung" and "Out the Hood" are the same, in that they sound alike. "Streets is Callin'" sounds rather fake, in that it should have been a more upbeat song. "Fizzo Got Flow" is a non-ending rhyming song in which the chorus repeats "Fizzo ... Read review

A value for money, thrilling double album
Review of Off The Wall/Thriller - Michael Jackson by Mel27

Advantages: Cheap to buy, good mix of music
Disadvantages: Some of the interviews are not very interesting

...these very popular albums? OFF THE WALL 1. Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough This is a high energy track, featuring a great range of vocals and a famous spoken intro. The only down side to it is, even to this day I don't know all the words simply because they aren't that clear. It remains a dance floor classic though. 2. Rock With You A softer dance song with better soft vocals. A very gentle affair. 3. Workin' Day And Night This classic rock/dance ...
...silly today! 5. Off The Wall The title track off this album is another Rod Temperton song (he also wrote "Rock With You" and "Thriller"). It's a song to blow the cobwebs away after a hard working week. "Life ain't so bad at all". 6. Girlfriend This rather cheesy song was originally written for MJ by Paul McCartney but it eventually went on to Paul's "London Town" album instead and then MJ later covered it for this album. The man is trying to persuade ... Read review

B2K Is Hot (But You Didn't Hear It From Me)
Review of B2K - B2K by XICripZ

Advantages: Never go wrong on the club tunes
Disadvantages: Ballards are weak

...we want to hear. B2k take a chance to talk us through their expereinces with girls, and tell us what is required to make the relationships work. The male fans are given something which they can relate to, and I felt they pulled it off. **Four Stars** 3. "Why I Love You" We are given an acoustic song hear, making them sound very pure as everything is done in minimal qunatites, so it is essentially the group (well more Omarion) singing with very ...
...9. "Come On" B2K funk things up once again with another bouncy club tune which sounds like a male version of Destiny's Child's "Bills, Bills, Bills" in terms of how the production has been done, this one just has a little more Hip Hop embedded within it to keep it flowing and clearly a masculine song from how everything is harder and funkier. I have to admit that although I enjoyed the song a lot, the theme of it was far too simialr to other tracks ... Read review
