Gospel Roots Aaron Neville
Advantages: good mix of music Disadvantages: absolutely none!
I could not, even if I tried, write anything negative about this double CD featuring Aaron Neville.
This man's voice is phenomenal and wonderfully unique.
He is originally from New Orleans and has a wonderful New Orleans Rhythm and Blues sound. His voice will reach your inner being every time he opens his mouth and a note comes out!
There is a wide spectrum throughout this particular collection. We have the up-tempo and foot-tapping beat of 'Oh ... ...moody sound of 'Ave Maria' and 'Amazing grace.' The rest of the songs included in these 2 CD's are:
What a friend we have in Jesus, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Morning has Broken, If I had a Hammer, Let it Be , Mary don't you Weep, Steer me Right, Gotta Serve Somebody, A Change is Gonna Come, I Believe, Let Go, Banks of the River Jordan, Jesus is a friend of Mine, Jesus Jesus Jesus, Jesus Loves Me, Singing you a Prayer, What would Jesus Do?, Going ...

Signing Off Is The Hardcore Rap Singer
Advantages: Lots of bangers Disadvantages: A few tunes let it down
Unfortunately, the relevance of the title to The Notorious B.I.G.’s second album wasn’t realised until it was competed, and her was killed just two weeks before it was planned to be released. The record came out regardless of the tragedy which surrounded it with the artist in question murdered, but this seems to have boosted it as an even bigger-selling one with it reaching Diamond sales and topping the charts. It is a double-album and the final ... ...“Life After Death” (Intro) 2. “Somebody’s Gotta Die” To start this one off you find him blazing through with some hardcore lyrics to show exactly what he wants to do on this one. It is powerful work and it takes from the introduction, which explained where things were left off on his debut album where he ‘died’. He seems to take on the sort of style he adopted then as this one begins, but then you quickly see a much more sinister side of him emerge ...

Illmatic - What More Can I Say
Advantages: Great lyrical depth Disadvantages: Not much you can pick out
Released in 1994, "Illmatic" is a classic Hip Hop album by the rapper known then as Nasty Nas. It is regarded as one of the greatest Hip Hop albums of all time, which is incredible considering it was the debut of a 21 year old MC from Queensbridge, New York. 1. Genesis (Intro)
2. NY State Of Mind This is a perfect example of a time when Nas is able to force the listener into his way of thinking, along with DJ Primo, an atmosphere is created, which ... ...Mind, making you see things in a different light. It is made most apparent when he says "I don't sleep, cause sleep is the cousin of death.", and it des actually make you wonder if you sould continue to do what you thought was normal, it suddenly has more depth to it.
This is a hardcore rap track and especially in the first verse of the track Nas' talent for writing rhymes is displayed, it was very different to anything else at the time and it's ...

No Blank Canvas
Advantages: Exceptional Lyrics - Original Content - Value for Money Disadvantages: Track Positions - Little weak Musically
...the new title - ' Untitled ' however, the original title will be remembered by many and with a title like 'Untitiled' those who do not know will ask and get to know. Therefore Nas has somewhat defeated all those who went against him. There was such rebellion and Nas has now produced an album with the help of others, which should give you an insight into who really has control and his statements towards censorship and how it will never be avoided ... ... The Album - Untitled
1: Queens Get the Money The intro to the album and the first track is at a standard I expect of Nas. Music that includes a catchy piano melody covered with great lyrics allows the listener to enjoy the music whilst listening to the lyrics and thoughts shared by the guest MC and Nas himself. The surrounding controversy of the album did have me expecting a strong message and loud statements shared ...

not bad but not great
Advantages: unrealeased biggie tracks Disadvantages: some bad trcks but not his fault as he has sadly left us
This is definetly not Big's best, but how can you be mad at him if hes not even with us anymore? (R.I.P.) This CD is made up of bits of unreleased Biggie verses and even some freestyles thrown into new beats and featuring some good and bad rappers. I bet biggie's rolling in his grave being featured on a track with the Cash Money Millionaires...but anyways there are some nice cuts on this album. The remix of Dead Wrong is dope with Eminem really tearing ... ...Now I know everyone says Tupac's post-death albums are better, well thats because he left tons of work, biggie didn't have that much time, he was taken way too early. Overall this album is okay but if you want really B.I.G. try his classic "Ready to die" or his final CD "Life After Death" ...
