r&b classics only gives you old timers nothing new (shame)
Advantages: lots of differnet artists Disadvantages: so many you get mixed up
this cd full of your old r and b songs is full of collabirations
for me a young teenager this doesnt really satisfy my needs half of the artists are really ancient.
not up to scratch with the new stuff, cant even touch the emotion of quality of new artists.
but this cd isnt all bad it does have a few pro's like:
it has a few decent artists but just not that many
and this cd will give you so many hours of sing song fun.
it has so many different ...

Mostly from the 80s, not many hits & almost no disco tracks
Advantages: The 6 number 1 records Disadvantages: The rest of the tracks are rubbish
Well the title itself is a misnomer for starters as the disco era was a fairly short period during the mid 1970's as disco was ousted from the music scene by Punk and the 80's were ruled by 2 Tone Ska then the New Romantics and synth music at least as far as the UK went any way. Disco may have lived on into the 80's in America but it was replaced by electro, hip hop then rap followed by House music. Wikipedia even openly admits that disco died in ... ...elsewhere during the 1980s", probably in less fashionable countries that hadn't adopted whatever was popular from England or America by then. Take it from someone who lived through all 3 decades, disco was dead and gone by the 1980's. So whats on this album then? 1. High Energy - Evelyn Thomas. This was #1 in a few places in 1984 but can't really be classed as disco even though its origins are rooted there. The track name did spawn a new musical ...

Slightly disappointed
Advantages: 2 Discs Disadvantages: Not so good tracks
Much to say, much to say. I admit that there are very few good tracks on this CD, look I am even using the word good, Ministry of Sound compilations are meant to be great! I found that too many of the tunes on this CD were rather old and already over played, for example MyMyMy by Armand van Helden. I do admit that there are some very good songs like Feel the Vibe by Axwell and A Studio- S.O.S. The rest I am largley disappointed especially disc two ...

Classic Euphoria 3CD
Advantages: Great tracks, classic mixing, seriously chilled. Disadvantages: Avoid second-hand copies..........
...is much better than the Classic Euphoria Level 2 which I also have. Highly chilled and with top tracks like; Chicane "Saltwater", Art of Trance "Madagacar", William Orbit " Barber's Adagio for Strings", Olive "You're Not Alone", Push "Strange World", to name but a few.
It features long mixes and about 3 "Chicane" numbers which are all brilliant. Not deeply chilled but not intrusive.
Sit down and relax to this compilation, it does wonders for me. ...

Rudolph The Funky-Soul Reindeer? It Gotsta Be Boosty, Baby
Advantages: The Funk Disadvantages: Few songs sound 'Christmas'y'
...2006 and came as a Christmas album from Funk legend Bootsy Collins (known for his work as a bassist in The J.B.'s, Funkadelic, Parliamnet and Boosty Collins' Rubber Band). It finds him bringing his own P-Funk twist on a variety of Christmas hits in that style as well as Hip Hop and Soul as we get him producing and singing with guest appearances from Gary Shider, Fred Wesley, Bernie Worrell and Snoop Dogg. 1.“N-Yo-City” Starting the album we see that ... ...**Four Stars** 2.“Merry Christmas Baby” Here we find that we get a track that brings the Funk out in a way that you really wouldn't have ben able to anticipate (even with the introductory cut) as we see that here we have synth joining some live instrumental bass work from his brother Catfish Collins, and Boosty himself makes his first apparent on the record by coming to deliver a fly hook and half-developed verses that take you back to the times ...
