Advantages: Bangers throughout Disadvantages: He got rid oof some big tracks
...decent one, but holds it back slightly. **Four Stars** 5. “Hustler’s Anthem ‘09” This was one of the big single to the album and it gets Busta Rhymes performing one which was made exclusively for the clubs as he teams up with T-Pain, one act known mostly for his work in this field, getting down to a a fly one which all listeners can get down to as it finds that the things which come through with it are pretty open to all people (no matter what they ... ...from it as he bounces back whilst taking the basis structure of a Dancehall song by the Dancehall singer DeMarco (who sings the chorus) to once again bring in his aspect of his material. **Five Stars** 11. “Sugar” This is one which once again has him making big things happen as the direction of the music is twisted towards something which hasn’t really come out of his music much as he performs a rather seductive one on some deep production from Jelly ...
Advantages: consitant album, good beats, thought out lyrics, good use of feature artists Disadvantages: the one classic song, although "dont get carried away" is close
Before this album, i couldnt really get into any of bustas old albums anywhere near what id liked to have. But this album was an instant hit with me and has high plays on my itunes! It has the "club" classics such as "touch it" and "I love my bit*h" that are catchy songs but for the slightly more commercial end of the spectrum for hip hop fans. The album features some great beats, with my favourites been, "Been through the storm" (featuring stevie ... ...the fall offs" and "dont get carried away". The latter been my favourite song on the album, it features Nas, one of the games greats and the production is by Dre, also one of the games legends! the song its catchy whilst not been commercial maintaining its "respect" so to speak with the "real" hip hop fans.
The album has the right blend of catchy songs, awesome beats and well thought out and flowed lyrics. It features stevie wonder who would be ...
Advantages: A few hits Disadvantages: Din't live up to the hype
Released late in 2006, "The Big Bang" was the seventh solo album for the Long Island, New York rapper Busta Rhymes. It was his most hyped release and had lots of attention surrounding it as it lead up to the release date, but I can't recall anything coming of the release. Going back, I didn't expect much, considering little was to be mentioned about the album, aside from the numerous bangers which went out as singles. 1. "Get You Some" (feat. Q-Tip ... ...at the time was doing big things, even brigning about a monster remix, which over-shadowed the populairty of the original as he gets what is essentially an Electronica piece and makes it work for himself. **Five Stars**
3. "How We Do It Over Here" (feat. Missy Elliott)
Busta gets Missy Elliot to help him out as he goes for another club-suited track,a nd he gets the right guest to aid him along the way, as she is able to really hype thign sup. However ...
"Genesis" came as the fifth solo album from the New York rapper, Busta Rhymes. It came out in 2001, and as him working alongside some of the best of the time with the likes of The Neptunes, Diddy and Dr. Dre all making appearances on this record. It features some of his best material ever, and I would say it would be the final album he released before he seemingly feel off. 1. "Intro"
2. "Everybody Rise Again"
After a introduction, which featured ... ...to get excited with ascending melodies which build one up in the way which Busta wants as he brings you into a much more lively (but manageable album). it is the right way to start things off, and tell the listener where things are directed. **Three Stars**
3. "As I Come Back" He doesn't mess around for this one as The Neptunes jump on the beats, and display how they have developed since the late nineties with a funky recording which has them use ...
Advantages: Great Production, Excellent lyrical performance and alot of content Disadvantages: if you enjoy hip hop or rap there are none
For me this is the best Busta Rhymes album that you can find. Excellent productions from Dr Dre and the Neptunes will just keep your head nodding to the beats throughout. Bustas lyrical talent is unbeatable and on this album he raps on a variety of different tracks and tempos. It features some hits such as - Break ya Neck, which i think is one of his best performances and listening to it might actually break your neck lol
- Truck Volume
- Pass ... ...to the album with some good speakers so that you can experience the full extent of the bass(especially on the Dre tracks).
If you are a fan of Busta Rhymes and you dont have this album the you are not a fan. However this album is a must have for anyone who enjoys listening to hip hop or rap. Excellent Performance ...
