Advantages: Great tunes, well ordered Disadvantages: poor mixing
This one of the best dance CD's doing the rounds at the moment in my opinion. It has all the big tunes of the moment and some good lesser known ones. The only tune missing is Heart of Asia by Watergate, however I think I'll let Dave off as it is his CD. There is also a good mix between music styles, such as trance, house, dance and fresh new "pioneers" (Daves words, not mine) in dance music. The only thing wrong with this superb compilation is the ... ...fades out and another starts, instead of them being mixed in with each other. This is very strange for Dave Oearce as listening to him on the radio proves he is very capable. This sadly give the CD a slightly unfinnished and unproffesional feel. However the choice of tunes makes up for this. ...
Advantages: A couple of tunes there to make you twitch your head Disadvantages: Cheesey to say the least
...though. Has the writing - Club Mix Ibiza 2000 - 40 of the biggest Ibiza Club tracks (SUCH RUBBISH) in white writing along the front. There is a picture of a palm tree beside a beach with a set of decks. Think the cover suits the album though.
Mixing on this album is ok - nothing to jump up and shout about.
Back to the recommendation - nah still wouldnt recommend it. Not for the fact it is way out of date now anyway, just for the fact it is RUBBISH!!!

Advantages: Great Releases tracks Disadvantages: instrumental tracks
Introduction. :::::::::::::::::::: Sash is one of the kings of euro pop. With many hits in the UK and the rest of the world his hits include, La Primarvera, Encore une fois, Ecuador and Mysterious Times. This third album which follows after the previous albums, It’s My Life and Life Goes on, once again is crammed full of dance hits and also reunites one of his older collaborations that being Tine Cousins in the smash hit “Just Around ... ...1. Rock the Block [ 3:46 ] The opening track bursts onto the scene with a tunnel effect and a creepy male voice saying ‘Rock the Block’. “Rock the Block” is a great start to this album. The female voice in this song contrasts with the male voice well. This song is rather fast in pace and is a great dance track, certainly one for the clubs. The song is reminiscent of Ecuador and the voices that are used in the song are from ...
Advantages: Interesting, Original and often Fun! Disadvantages: Not to everybody's taste
...connotations of the title, not everything is wrong. This album, for example. Completely different to anything else Moby has done, but then, this is a man who changes his musical style more often than Henry VIII changed his wives. The album starts with the rather sedate Hymn, then going into a sudden change of mood with Feeling so Real, which can be a bit of a shock should you not expect it. This isn't an album for all the "me-toos" who jumped on ...
Advantages: Big names, great songs and flashes of excellence. Disadvantages: Feels laboured in places. Doesn't make easy listening.
The original Pure Garage was the champion of the early garage scene, but these days, there's a lot more competition. Garage has made it big, and compilations are hitting the shelves left, right and centre. Perhaps it's the sheer volume of incredible music that makes Pure Garage II slightly disappointing. Don't get me wrong -- it's a great compilation with groovy mixing and top songs, but it just doesn't have the cut-above-the-rest edge you'd expect. ... ...and tedious, which means it can grate on your nerves a bit. Big names like DJ EZ aren't enough to give this compilation an extra breath of life. It works at parties and in group settings but if you're playing it at home it doesn't make very easy listening. Good stuff, but not for soft garage fans. If you like funky garage you can actually bop along to, the faultless Artful Dodger Back By Public Demand might be the way to go. ...
