Review of Forever Faithless (The Greatest Hits) - Faithless by
4ku-Papa
Advantages: Superlative dance music classic
Disadvantages: One or two slightly weaker tracks
There have been so many dance acts over the last ten years, I find it hard to remember any of them. In fact, dance music is so risible nowadays, clubs like Ministry and the Ibiza super-clubs must have a hard time filling their dancefloors. I mean who's going to be dancing to that damn-awful stupid frog song? Please tell me it's not you …
Anyway, there have been or two notable exceptions, and Faithless, with their infectious brand of catchy riffs, ... ...have released consistently good tunes. So when I saw the advert's for this CD, I knew I had to have it. Father's day arrives and my lovely daughter buys it for me. Woo hoo.
A little background …
Faithless consists of three main protagonists; Sister Bliss, Maxi Jazz and Rollo. Cool names huh? Sis' provides all the keyboards while Maxi brings along his unique lyrical and rap style and Rollo writes and produces. Sister Bliss is a well known DJ on ...

Review of No Roots [ECD] - Faithless by
Eggy_McMuffin
Advantages: Brilliant songs, well mixed, good mix of tempo.
Disadvantages: Heavy lyrics.
...of this is the song no roots, as this talks about a child who's father has just left for war, not the most cheery topic), this though does not at all detract from the overall quality of the album. I hope that everyone listens to this as it is definately one of the best albums I have ever listened to. ...

A Favourite Thing
Review of Reverence - Faithless by
chocoholic
Advantages: Great music
Disadvantages: Some duds
Faithless are one of my favourite artists. In case you don’t know Faithless are made up of Maxi Jazz, Jamie Catto, Sister Bliss and Rollo. This foursome have had a huge amount of success, and still seem to have their feet on the ground. I am a huge fan so forgive me if I seem biased. Anyway this album starts brilliantly with the title track, and it is the deadpan tones of Maxi Jazz which make it work so well. My favourite lyrics have to be:
... ...so take a pace back, face facts- you don’t need eye’s to see you need vision’ Next comes ‘Don’t leave’ a very sickly love song, and I’m not at all sure about Catto’s vocals. This song doesn’t have the ‘Faithless’ touch (maybe it’s due to the fact that it is written without Maxi Jazz’s input?). Overall a very forgettable track.
Things perk up with ‘Salva Mea’, ...

Hard Jagged Edge
Review of Hard - Jagged Edge by
jcneil
Advantages: Smooth ballads, Vocals
Disadvantages: A couple of weaker links
**Introduction**
Hard is the fourth album from Jagged Edge released in 2003. The album features collaborations with the likes of Big Boi from Outkast aswell as Street Katz And Woonie on the remix of "They aint J" and Major Damage on Girls Gone Wild. 1. They Ain't JE This is the introduction to the album, the track is about having confidence in yourself that you have something that other people can't offer. As I mention later this original version ... ...female backing vocals.
5. Hard Another catchy track which Jagged Edge are known for, The smooth vocals are there aswell as the firm beat. A nice mix between a ballad and midtempo track. One of the best ones they have done like this.
6. Dance Floor Probably the weakest track on the album, Although it has a nice catchy hook it doesnt really have that spark that their best tracks do. It also doesnt really expand on the hook. Not bad though.
7. Trying ...
