Ladies leave your man at home....
Advantages: Excellent catchy songs Disadvantages: Nothing at all!!!
Destiny's Child are definitely great singers! This LP has got some ballads as well as upbeat songs with an RnB feel to it! I think its one of the best albums that I own by them - and they are excellent rolesmodels. 1. Intro - Nothing much to say about it - other than its short.
2. So Good - I think this is an excellent song! Really energetic and fun to sing along to!!!
3. Bills, Bills, Bills - First single they released from this album and I still ... ...definitely get stuck in your head!!!
4. Confessions (Featuring Missy Elliott)- This song is cool. And love the lyrics to sing along to. Background music makes this song really original.
5. Bug-A-Boo - This is another of their massive hits. It can be really annoying if heard to many time (it really annoys me sometimes!!!) This song will easily get stuck in your head.
6. Temptation - When I first heard the beginning of this tune it reminded me of ...

Unfulfilling!
Advantages: Soldier. Disadvantages: Everything else.
I bought this CD back in 2004 for one reason only; I liked the track 'Soldier'. Oh okay, a band that produced videos with Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams and Beyonce prancing around, well, what can I say. This album was the fourth studio album and was produced in 2004.
On to the serious business of the music.

1. Lose My Breath
Quite a lively number very catchy in a club R&B style. Great use of what I think are trumpets. What I do ... ...being overtly sexual in an industry that is male dominated. Not a great song but a decent lively opener 6/10.
2. Soldier (featuring T.I. & Lil Wayne)
The reason I bought the album, great mix of R&B and rap/hip hop, great bass line and use of drums. Again an overtly predatory sexual song. It is very raw and tough and full of innuendo "Known to carry big things if you know what I mean". The vocal 'turns' that the women have really works well. T.I. ...

Say Ye, Ye, Ye, Ye, Yeah
Advantages: A few bangers Disadvantages: Inconsistent
The Houston girl group Destiny’s Child released their eponymous debut in 1997. It saw the quartet, consisting then of Beyoncé (as the lead vocalist), alongside Kelly Rowland, LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson at a time where they only received mild success as they came through as a fresh female R&B group on the scene and brought with it a hit in “No, No, No” (Part 2) before dropping numerous hits on the album which followed on from it. 1. “Second ... ...jam to ease you into what they have to offer on this one as they are seen to bring down the pace to one which they know will be able to engage with the listeners with a nice little love song, taken from The Isley Brothers to get you used to their traditional approach at this stage. **Four Stars** 2. “No, No, No” (Part 2) Here they lay down a killer tune as you see that they get down to what was their breakthrough single as they were seen to work ...

You'll Hardly Make It With Just This
Advantages: A few big tunes Disadvantages: Inconsistent
“Survivor” dropped in 2001 as the third Destiny’s Child album. This was really the worldwide breakthrough for the group, although they were able to come with come big hits with the two albums prior to this, and it is also significant in tha it features the core line-up and the one that would last until they decided to end things as a group with Beyoncé, Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams (the latter of which was included during the video ... ...It features some of the R&B trio’s most successful singles as they turned more towards the Pop end of things as the worked with different producers this time around. 1. “Independent Woman” (Part 1) They kick things off with a song that was included to the soundtrack to the ‘Charlie’s Angels’ film. Personally, I wasn’t all that into it, but with its massive popularity you can’t really hate on it all that much with it being played so often. It finds ...
