Kosheen is back
Advantages: Great tracks, great lyrics, great band Disadvantages: Not as good as the original album
Kosheen, theres something about there style which i am addicted to and i have to say they have done a fantastic job with this album. I had never heard of Kosheen since someone gave me there first album and that was just simply amazing and damaged is also a really good album however i would have to admit it was not as good as there original, but then again it is hard to top that album. Again the album contains a mixture of fast and slow tracks with ...

Who Says Cube Fell Off?
Advantages: Consistent quality Disadvantages: One weak track
"Raw Footage" is the eighth solo album from one of the founding members of N.W.A, Ice Cube. Cube came into the game in the late eighties as part of the rise of Gangsta Rap movement, which was spawned from the exposure of Hip Hop over in LA, and since they had to relate it to their street life, the gangsta lifestyle became part of their music. With Ice-T, MC Ren and Dr. Dre, they managed to get this unique sound of the West Coast up, and it is now ... ...Since its peak in the mid-ninties, the West Coast scene has died down, so it could have been difficult for Cube to come up with something for the listeners of now. Despite the fact that he has made acting his main career path, he has continued to bring out new releases, but the last one, "Laugh Now, Cry Later" (which came out in 2006) sounded as if he had lost the flow which he had in his early days, since he took an extended break from the game, ...

Catch Me If, You Can - An Album Worth Buying?
Advantages: 17 Tracks worth £9, Different Genres, Range of Artists featured Disadvantages: The Album Cover needed a little improvement
...London born artist Bashy, then Catch Me, If You Can is the Album made for you. However if your not into UK Music at all, but just enjoy general Rap, Electro and other up-tempo genres, then this album is also for you! No matter what part of the planet your from, or even the part of the UK your from, Bashy's newest album is an album that should get the UK Music scene more recognition and respect not only from what rapper Bashy (real name Ashley Thomas) ... ...what the artist has done to actually create his music, promote his image and sound and also graft to get the golden album that his needed. Tracks from the album which feature a whole-load of guests, which include: N-Dubz, Wretch 32, Jamelia and many more, with the support of gigantic producers such as Attacca Pesante, Toddla T and Naughty Boy to help manage the album, what could go wrong? Weirdly enough it can't, its an album that you won't be skipping ...

The energy really doesn't die!
Advantages: 16 Brilliant songs Disadvantages: Only one picture of the band, the rest futuristic people
The E.N.D, (The energy never dies) – The Black Eyed Peas album
Buying, Quality and Value for Money
I bought my copy of this CD from Tesco, for £9.89, but it can also be found in other supermarkets, or music stores like ZAVVI, HMV or Asda for around the same price. The CD is great value, and has 16 tracks on it, great value for money.
Presentation
The CD case is quite odd. There are no pictures of the black eyed peas, just futuristic ... ...which is available to watch on YouTube if you haven’t already seen it. On the back of the case is the name of the 16 songs, which are numbered and have the time that they play for after them. The actual CD is black, and in white writing at the top, it says “The E.N.D”. The booklet is in the same design with the futuristic people doping different movements, and information about the songs and who produced and wrote it ect. On the centre page of the ...

The Whut???
Advantages: Bangers throughout Disadvantages: Nothing specific
Guided by Erick Sermon, who he would soon come to form part of Def Squad with (along with Keith Murray) it finds him performing the similar things to what EPMD (of which Erick Sermon is half) were known for with the ‘Funk Rap’, material coming out the East Coast and laced-heavily with P-Funk samples from the seventies and eighties. 1. “Psycho Ward” (Intro) 2. “Time 4 Sum Aksion” The album gets going with something hardcore as we get one of the singles ... ...we get a jam which uses a huge array of various samples from a little from Zapp, Sly & The Family Stone and LL Cool J to help him along the way as he gets the thing underway with a track that’s all there for the hype and has him showing just how much potential he has within him. **Five Stars** 3. “Da Funk” (Lude) 4. “News Break” (Lude) 5. “So Ruff” We have things taken to rather predictable places here, but really you are completely unable to complain ...
