Smells like funk...??! Advantages: Funky!! Disadvantages: Some boring songs on the album! The Blackeyed Peas- Elephunk Interscope records, licensed to Polydor Ltd (UK) The "peas" are also known as Will.i.am, Fergie,Taboo and Apl.de.ap. The peas have been around in the hip hop music scene for years know, and true die hard hip hop/RnB fans may say that their commercialisation has spoilt the genre. However, as one of these fans, I am nothing but impressed with the album. I tend to buy albums that reflect in a certain memory in my life. ... ...throughout the whole of my girlie ski trip to South Germany and became our sound track! From then on, we all had to get it! As a musician myself I can appreciate the fine form of all things musical, but particularly the catchy tunes with a range of rythmical influences such as salsa and latino which i love. In a nutshell then, its just down right funky! In my opinion, the album is very good, strong and powerful. The Eminem Show - by Eminem Advantages: Great quality music, lots of songs to suit your mood Disadvantages: Couple of poor songs, controversial if you're not into this music ...Movie World of Reviews. The Eminem Show is probably the only album I feel I know well enough to write about, so here goes. Rap artist Eminem has been around for over a decade now. He burst into the hiphop/rap scene and created massive controversy and faced ridicule for being a white rapper, fighting against all the black artists such a P. Diddy, D12, Jay-Z, 50 Cent and Dr. Dre, just to name a few. He began his music life releasing The Slim Shady ... ...Slim Shady, another nickname. Eminem released The Eminem Show in 2002. It sold over a million copies very quickly, and was a bit more playful than his latest two albums (mentioned above). The Slim Shady/Marshall Mathers LPs were very serious, about guns, suicide, killing, how much he hates his mum and family and wants them dead (not nice..), and how he hated other artists. My Name is? Advantages: Thought provoking and talent!! Disadvantages: none ...being un politically correct. The slim Shady LP is full of tracks that explain some of his lifes problems from his problems at school to the problems with his ex partner and their daughter hailey. If your easily offended then this is definatly not a album for you, on the other hand if you like a little humour with a serious side and a talented way of putting it then this album should definatly be amoungst your CD collection. Nice friendly up-lifting hip-hop Advantages: Probably the best album, along with the brand new "power in numbers" Disadvantages: There are no real disadvantages to this album all the music is light hearted and easy listening The album quality control really is a top notch album, with tracks like concrete schoolyard, jurass finish first and quality control itself, if you've ever been to see jurassic 5 then they are just the same live as they are on the CD. The rapping in it is just a bit different to most hip-hop that is coming out these days, instead of it being quite dark and political, jurassic 5 just seem to have this buzz about them they sound good, and the relationship ... fantastic songs Advantages: Story telling Disadvantages: none Incredible lyrics are on this album, fantastic beats and this album is splendid. On this album there is no cursing and no women are being disrespected. On this album you can expect some reggae which is on the last song which is number 16. And you can also expect some dancing somes, and you can also expect to hear some good stories that he is telling in his song.
