19 is "Right As Rain" Advantages: Good Music, Good Lyrics Disadvantages: The style may get a little repetitive, but that isn't too bad. ...I've come to see that 19 is one of the best albums that I own. Adele's vocal range is amazing and utterly beautiful. Every song has meaning. The lyrics are amazing. Some people may say that Adele is the new Amy Winehouse, but from my point of view, she's better. Put this record on! ...the fire... Advantages: Has a pretty front cover... Disadvantages: Delivery isn't up to the standard it should be... AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! This is one of the most frustrating albums I have ever had to endure... It lives off the reputation of a couple of songs, and frankly, is a dissapointment, and this is coming from someone who didn't have high expectations to start with! It is a weird mixture of chilled out music, mixed with a couple of 'up-beat' tracks, mixed with fillers (Tracks just put there to make the album long enough to call and album). She regularly overstretches ... ...she just does not sing well enough to sing the songs she writes, a couple of her songs have excellent lyrics, but she just can't deliver them to make their full potential. Maybe she should switch to just writing songs and letting others deliver them properly. You may think I am being harsh, well maybe I am a little... TOUCHES MY MUSICAL TASTE BUDS THATS FOR SURE! Advantages: CAN'T PICK A BAD TRACK, GREAT PRODUCTION, EVERYTHING! Disadvantages: NONE. ...hit to his production list. Touch is a catchy seductive track using a hypnotic crunk beat and a element of indian style music. Here Amerie shows off her sexy seductive side, and shows the world how much she's grown from her last album. The great thing about ameire is that she can be sexy without being labeled as a bimbo showing off most of her body, amerie's style in very sexy but classy..reminds me alot of aaliyahs influence (who she herself is ... ...the only one' This is another catchy, funky track. Here she talks about not being the only one creeping around ie her boyfriend cheating on her, and he aint the only one playing games. Reflections of the way life used to be.. Advantages: Wonderful music Disadvantages: None ...it cost me £10.50. 40 Golden Motown Greats Diana Ross and The Supremes (although there are other artists as well) Compiled in 1998 I really do not know how I missed this one. When I looked at the songs on this CD it brought back a funny memory of my 10th Wedding Anniversary when we had a huge party it was a hot day way back in the 1980's and at that time we used tapes and long playing records. I had Diana Ross on a long player it was my favourite ... ...a low wall outside in the garden to be played next - the sun decided it should not be a record anymore but a nice black bowl. It was never replaced because I could never quite replace all the songs on one disc. This little gem has at last done that for me. There are two discs - disc one has 24 tunes and disc two 16. FREAK OUT OR CHILL OUT! Advantages: Value for money; comprehensive; uplifting; music for the soul! Disadvantages: Could have been a 2 disc set! If you're starting out as a George Benson fan or just being a completist, this is definitely the compilation to go for! Perfect for summer days and really uplifting for the winter nights. I had this album on constant replay when I was revising for my exams this year and judging by my results, something inspired me! Whether you want to freak out or chill out, this is the album for you. If you were a fan of Michael Jackson's 'Off the wall' or anything ... ...Johnson, 'Ai No Corrida' etc.) you're bound to love 'Give me the night' or 'Love x Love.'
