The Real Hip Hop Is Over Here?
Advantages: A few bangers Disadvantages: A few tracks are a little weaker than the rest
...have been extensive used in Hip Hop (especially in the eighties). **Four Stars** 2. “You Can’t Kill Me” As his statement obviously means he is essentially killing off himself and many other people who he doesn’t want to say fit in with this trend, he exempts himself from it with this one, and affirms it in the true Gangsta Rap way by setting a scene where people are there attempting to get him in a kind of Mafioso scene, but he obviously prevails ... ...back into the history of Hip Hop and speaks on top of some funky James Brown samples, and how excited it made him as he heard all that he came up with. **Five Stars** 5. “Hip Hop Is Dead” The titular track here had a big impact at the time as it really represented what Nas meant by the statement and made people reconsider what they see ‘real Hip Hop’ to truly be, and whether they have actually encountered it recently form the act which performed ...

No Blank Canvas
Advantages: Exceptional Lyrics - Original Content - Value for Money Disadvantages: Track Positions - Little weak Musically
...the new title - ' Untitled ' however, the original title will be remembered by many and with a title like 'Untitiled' those who do not know will ask and get to know. Therefore Nas has somewhat defeated all those who went against him. There was such rebellion and Nas has now produced an album with the help of others, which should give you an insight into who really has control and his statements towards censorship and how it will never be avoided ... ... The Album - Untitled
1: Queens Get the Money The intro to the album and the first track is at a standard I expect of Nas. Music that includes a catchy piano melody covered with great lyrics allows the listener to enjoy the music whilst listening to the lyrics and thoughts shared by the guest MC and Nas himself. The surrounding controversy of the album did have me expecting a strong message and loud statements shared ...

Ready To Die
Advantages: Everything Disadvantages: N/A
...the track. 6 - Ready To Die Again, an Easy Mo Bee produced track in which Biggie looks back at his life and how much he struggled as he was growing up. 7 - One More Chance This song was produced by Puff Daddy and was fairly successful. There was a remixed version of the song which made quite a big impact on the US charts. The track features smooth female vocals at the chorus which is a nice contrast to Biggie's gruff voice. 8 - F*$k Me Interlude ... ...9 - The What This Method Man featuring, Easy Mo Bee produced track has a nice laid back feel to it. Method Man is the only rapper to have a feature on this album, a testament to his quality. 10 - Juicy This is one of my favourite tracks of all time. I'm not ashamed to say I know pretty much all of the words (ok, I am a bit ashamed but so what?!?). This track was produced by Puff Daddy and heavily samples Juicy Fruit my Mtume. It features the vocal ...

And If You Don't Know, Now You Know
Advantages: Lots of bangers Disadvantages: Nothing specific
...tests whether his listener is ready to witness what this tune has to offer. I would have expected much more, based upon the title, and how funky the Funk samples have been up to this point, but I wouldnt say that it takes from the enjoyment of the track as he gets into it. **Five Stars**
5. "Warning"
Kanye West adapted the opening of this to a track on his debut album, and it manages to start things up once again (as you have lots of tune which ... ...with him waking up). You have a banger in this one, just as will the rest of the album, and in this case it is achieved by providing a quality-filled narrative. **Five Stars**
6. "Ready To Die"
The eponymous track from the album gets him doing a track which reminds me strongly of the early hardcore Hip Hop music, which predominantly came out of the south with the likes of the Geto Boys. This is no Goth Rap business though as he takes you down with ...

How Did We Get From Jamaica To Snowflakes One Song After The Nex?
Advantages: Lots of big tunes Disadvantages: Nothing specific
“Snowflakes” was released as the first Christmas album from the R&B singer Toni Braxton. Released in 2001, it finds her mixing in a range of tunes which have her taking on familiar tunes that all know from this time as well as some original compositions. It is noted for being recorded at a time when she was newly married and was expecting her first child. 1.“Holiday Celebrate” The album opens up with a track that shows that in this album we are about ... ...lts of effort put into it in order to make it sound much more than your average, quickly-thrown-together Christmas album as we get thoughtful production that mixes in the contemporary R&B trends with the Christmas-y themes for a big opener that I can't find any faults with. **Five Stars** 2.“Christmas In Jamaica” As things move on, we see there here we get what was the second album from the record and a joint that has her linking up with the Dancehall ...
