...The three big singles on Curtis to me, aren't really that big. Am I wrong to remember "I Get Money" as Floyd Mayweather's Pre-Wrestlemania 24 theme song? The song really failed to make a splash, but make no mistake, it's hot. In fact, "I Get Money" is probably the most "classic-50" sounding single from the album. Producer Apex takes Audio Two's "Top Billin" with synth-guitars and thumping bass. Is it "commercial"? Oh yes. Is it hot? Oh yes! Then ... ...song. The majority of Curtis is what you'd expect; counterfactual gangsta rap and casuistic cautionary tales. Make no mistake, we saw this on The Massacre and Get Rich or Die Tryin' but the difference is - those were bangers. "My Gun Go Off", "Man Down", "I'll Still Kill", and "Curtis 187" are epic failures when compared to "What Up Gangsta", "Heat", "Ski Mask Way" or "In My Hood". Curtis is an album by 50 Cent that features producing and fellow vocals from awesome acts like Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Akon, Robin Thicke and the members of G-Unit along with many more. There are some very good tracks, "Ayo Technology", "I Get Money", "I'll Still Kill" are the main ones. In my opinion this album is no where near as good as 50 Cent's first album (Get Rich or Die Tryin'), however is not far off from being as good as The Massacre, ... ...hook.
Track 16 - Curtis 187 - Excellent yet underrated tune.
Track 17 - Touch the Sky ft. Tony Yayo - Really good lyrics and beat, very good rapping also.
Track 18 Bonus Track - Hustler's Ambition - Excellent track however was on Get Rich Or Die Tryin' Soundtrack.
If you get the album off iTunes then you get and extra two tracks - Smile (I'm Leavin') and I Get Money (Forbes 1-2-3 Remix). ...

“The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory” came out late in 1996, and had 2Pac take on a new persona as Makaveli (following the time spend reading Machiavelli’s “The Prince” in prison). It was the second album from him in the year, after dropping the classic “All Eyez On Me” earlier on, but unfortunately he was killed before he was given a chance to drop this, his final completed work. 1. “Intro” 2. “Hail Mary” This track begins a string of recordings ... ...this one, it is probably the most significant track off the album as it is considered to be one of his best creations ever as he flows on top of the type of beats which we would associate from the Horrocore phase a few years later.
