What If Biggie Did A Collab With...
Advantages: Able to do things that could never happen before Disadvantages: Inconsistent
"Duets: The Final Chapter" came out in 2005. It was the third posthumous release from The Notortious B.I.G., who died back in 19997 in a fatal shooting. This release has modern producers take past material (both released and unreleased tracks) and take snippets of them to form completley new tracks, and have the remainder of the time taken up by raps from stars of the time. 1. "Intro" 2. "It Has Been Said" (feat. Eminem, Obie Trice and Diddy) Personally, ... ...the album as it began with Eminem, and I simply cannot listen to his music, so there was no way that I was going to feel this one at all. Em' produced it too, and so had full control over the recording. **One Star** 3. "Spit Your Game" (feat. Krazyie Bone and Twista) This was one of the single from the album, and it has Big's old material re-used and worked inot a club banger by one of the top party rap prodcers of that year, Swizz Beatz. With him ...

Signing Off Is The Hardcore Rap Singer
Advantages: Lots of bangers Disadvantages: A few tunes let it down
Unfortunately, the relevance of the title to The Notorious B.I.G.’s second album wasn’t realised until it was competed, and her was killed just two weeks before it was planned to be released. The record came out regardless of the tragedy which surrounded it with the artist in question murdered, but this seems to have boosted it as an even bigger-selling one with it reaching Diamond sales and topping the charts. It is a double-album and the final ... ...“Life After Death” (Intro) 2. “Somebody’s Gotta Die” To start this one off you find him blazing through with some hardcore lyrics to show exactly what he wants to do on this one. It is powerful work and it takes from the introduction, which explained where things were left off on his debut album where he ‘died’. He seems to take on the sort of style he adopted then as this one begins, but then you quickly see a much more sinister side of him emerge ...

not bad but not great
Advantages: unrealeased biggie tracks Disadvantages: some bad trcks but not his fault as he has sadly left us
This is definetly not Big's best, but how can you be mad at him if hes not even with us anymore? (R.I.P.) This CD is made up of bits of unreleased Biggie verses and even some freestyles thrown into new beats and featuring some good and bad rappers. I bet biggie's rolling in his grave being featured on a track with the Cash Money Millionaires...but anyways there are some nice cuts on this album. The remix of Dead Wrong is dope with Eminem really tearing ... ...Now I know everyone says Tupac's post-death albums are better, well thats because he left tons of work, biggie didn't have that much time, he was taken way too early. Overall this album is okay but if you want really B.I.G. try his classic "Ready to die" or his final CD "Life After Death" ...

The King of the East Coast Rappers
Advantages: Great Lyrics, great story telling, excellent production Disadvantages: Interlude track of BIG having sex
...10/10
Track 6 - Ready to Die
A pretty standard gangster rap song here with the usual story of singing about how much of a gangster he is and what he does to people who cross him. His word play is excellent whilst the beats are also decent, not the most thought provoking track but worth a listen none the less.
Samples
"Singing in the Morning" by The Ohio Players
"Impeach the President" by The Honey Drippers
"Hospital Prelude of Love Theme" by ... ...your upper lip quiver
Get ready to die, tell God I said hi
And throw down some ice, for the nicest MC
Niggaz know the steelo, unbelievable
8/10
Track 17 - Suicidal Thoughts
Easily the darkest track on here, the beats are slow and low key while the song is about BIG contemplating suicide and finally committing it. Some of my friends aren't as keen on this track as I am but I love this one and believe it was the perfect way to finish an almost ...

Ready To Die
Advantages: Everything Disadvantages: N/A
...the track. 6 - Ready To Die Again, an Easy Mo Bee produced track in which Biggie looks back at his life and how much he struggled as he was growing up. 7 - One More Chance This song was produced by Puff Daddy and was fairly successful. There was a remixed version of the song which made quite a big impact on the US charts. The track features smooth female vocals at the chorus which is a nice contrast to Biggie's gruff voice. 8 - F*$k Me Interlude ... ...9 - The What This Method Man featuring, Easy Mo Bee produced track has a nice laid back feel to it. Method Man is the only rapper to have a feature on this album, a testament to his quality. 10 - Juicy This is one of my favourite tracks of all time. I'm not ashamed to say I know pretty much all of the words (ok, I am a bit ashamed but so what?!?). This track was produced by Puff Daddy and heavily samples Juicy Fruit my Mtume. It features the vocal ...
