this song gives Chuck-D a rest and ... ...This song has a funky beat and is one of there more popular songs. It attacks the emergancy services. With lyrics like "I call a cab, cause a cab will come quicker" makes his pont clear that he doesn't like the way the emergency services treat people.
Welcome To The Terrordome

This is one of Chuck-D's memerable songs just because of his abilities on the mic. He certainly lives up to his title as the 'lyrical terrorist' ...

Government: We Are Suckas
Advantages: Classic material Disadvantages: One weak track
...Hip Hop group Public Enemy. It finds them blazing through, off the hype of their debut with more innovative, Afrocentric material, but this time enough to give them a push into mainstream attention as they laid out a series of killer singles to help Chuck D, Flavor Flav, Terminator X and the gang to where they needed to be. 1. “Countdown To Armageddon” (Intro) 2. “Bring The Noise” This is a powerful starter from the act and one that has them powering ... ...build up the hype for it as they come out with a tune that shows progression from their last one where they show how little they are prepared to hold back when they come with their political message in their music. **Five Stars** 3. “Don’t Believe The Hype” Although one of their most popular tunes, it was one that I could only really feel when placed within the album as it seems to be surrounded in the right context when you here them go at the thing ...

Still vibrant, still one of the best...
Advantages: One of the great albums of all time.. Disadvantages: If you can spot one, please let me know in the Comments section!
...be honest, I'd generally ignore it through complete lack of interest.
However, one day, something just clicked; the track that was playing made me stop and listen. It sounded angry and intense but had something indefinable that made it different - an aural bomb for young ears! The record playing was 'Bring the Noise', one of the tracks from the 'It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back' album by one of the most critically revered rap groups ... ...and look at how relevant it is in 2008.
This was actually PE's second studio album (the follow-up to 'Yo! Bum Rush the Show'), originally released twenty years ago (!) in 1988 - and boy, does that make me feel old... The album has since enjoyed superb critical reviews, regularly cropping up in Top 50 All-Time Great Albums charts. Produced by the Bomb Squad, the album has 16 tracks, weighing in at just over 57 minutes.
Let's get one thing right ...
