40 Golden Motown Greats Diana Ross and The Supremes (although there are other artists as well)
Compiled in 1998 I really do not know how I missed this one.
When I looked at the songs on this CD it brought back a funny memory of my 10th Wedding Anniversary when we had a huge party it was a hot day way back in the 1980's and at that time we used tapes and long playing records. I had Diana Ross on a long player it was my favourite ... ...a low wall outside in the garden to be played next - the sun decided it should not be a record anymore but a nice black bowl. It was never replaced because I could never quite replace all the songs on one disc.
This little gem has at last done that for me. There are two discs - disc one has 24 tunes and disc two 16.
Listed on disc one - Where Did Our Love Go -Diana Ross and The Supremes -1964 (First number 1)
Baby Love -Diana Ross and The Supremes ...

I would highly recommend this for an easy listening CD. ...

This compliation showcases their innovative style and techniques and gives some indication of why Run DMC are so widely respected and admired over twenty five years after their first release. ...

...live singing from.
The Coming Home cd is no exeption to his rule. It has 13 tracks (plus bonus track) of steamy ballads and upbeat carnival numbers. The first on the cd is called 'Call it Love' and is one of the best on there, you just can helpbut sing along with him (much to the anger of my housemate!).
Tracks included are on the Coming Home cd are;
1) Call it Love
2) Sweet Vacation
3) Why
4) What you are
5) Upp all Night
6) I'm Coming Home
... ...see him live for the Coming Home tour so that says how good the cd is (or how mad I am?!)
As you can pick up cd albums for much less than £10 on the net it is definitely worth a listen even if you don't think you're a fan!
Give it a listen and I guarantee you'll try and hide it in your car initially but you'll be singing to your friends in no time!! ...
Advantages: The Funk Disadvantages: Few songs sound 'Christmas'y'
...2006 and came as a Christmas album from Funk legend Bootsy Collins (known for his work as a bassist in The J.B.'s, Funkadelic, Parliamnet and Boosty Collins' Rubber Band). It finds him bringing his own P-Funk twist on a variety of Christmas hits in that style as well as Hip Hop and Soul as we get him producing and singing with guest appearances from Gary Shider, Fred Wesley, Bernie Worrell and Snoop Dogg. 1.“N-Yo-City” Starting the album we see that ... ...**Four Stars** 2.“Merry Christmas Baby” Here we find that we get a track that brings the Funk out in a way that you really wouldn't have ben able to anticipate (even with the introductory cut) as we see that here we have synth joining some live instrumental bass work from his brother Catfish Collins, and Boosty himself makes his first apparent on the record by coming to deliver a fly hook and half-developed verses that take you back to the times ...
