Snoop Dogg needs to be put to sleep...
Advantages: Charismatic and Humorous Lines, Some Solid Production, Some Good Guests Disadvantages: Terrible Lyricism, Constant Filler, Poor No Limit Guests, Commercial, Cliche Subject Matter
...and No Limit, he released Tha Last Meal. Dr. Dre returned to produce some of the tracks, as well as a few other good producers, this would be Snoop Dogg's final No Limit album before moving on to opening his own label: Dogghouse Records. But the real question is.... Is the album good? Read on... Track List & Rating 1. Intro (NOT RATED) 2. Hennesey n' Buddah f/ Kokane (3 Stars) 3. Snoop Dogg (Whats My Name Pt. 2) (3 Stars) 4. True Lies f/ Kokane (2 ... ...the above average cuts on Tha Last Meal, in fact, its a great song. Snoop goes for nostaligia on this, bringing back some of the West Coast's greatest emcees back together to join the Doggfather on this incredible crew joint. N.W.A. alumni MC Ren and Ice Cube pop in, along with former Death Row Records employees Kurupt, Ice Cube, and Nate Dogg. Of course, as you may have figured, Nate hits us with another one of his haunting hooks, but this time ...

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE MAKING YOUR FINAL DECISION
Advantages: Got some of the best snoop songs including low and high profile songs Disadvantages: Not for the light hearted, some violent and explicit nature. Listen with care.
PROMOTING GANG VIOLENCE, DRUGS, AND INCLUDING SOME SEXUAL NATURE, ISN'T EVERYONES IDEA OF FUN. But people familiar with the Rap scene and into hip hop music will be a big fan of this album. Even if you have all his previous album this album is definately worth the money, even more so if you don't.

Anybody who isn't familiar with snoop doggs other albums/songs, ... ...to be an almost groundbreaking mix of Snoop tracks that would get anyone into hip hop. If your looking for a taster into hip hop this is a great album for you so even if your not considering to buy it I would advise you to have a look at this one. It provides a taste for snoops works and hip hop and most of the tracks aren't very familiar with most people who don't own a snoop dogg album. This was one of my first hip hop albums and I absolutely loved ...

Death Row Brings Tha Dogg Bacc
Advantages: Previously-unreleased material Disadvantages: Lacks the energy of most of his albums
...from Snop whilst on the Dead Row record label, without the artists permission. All the tracks were recorded between 1993 and 1998, so it is highly varied in style and quality. 1. "May I"
This is a massively strong way to get things goign as you have a piece of quality material from Snoop getting things going, showing that he had a lot more potentinal in him than what was released in "Doggystyle", and "Tha Doggfather", not that they weren't great ... ...Snoop gets his Crip Walk on with this one, showing that even Gs need to boogie, even if its just to send a message out to opposite gang members. It is a funky G-Funk tune, which you are bound to like if you wre into material from "Tha Doggfather", and that time in his career. **Four Stars**
3. "Head Doctor"
I wouldn't havre said that this one is anywhere near as good as the majority of the tracks on the album, however it serves a perpose within ...

Where'd The G Go, G?
Advantages: A few big tunes Disadvantages: Inconsistent
“R&G (Rhythm & Gangsta): The Masterpiece” came as the sixth proper album released by Snoop Dogg and came in 2004, in what can be considered to be the second album with Snoop going into a new phase in his career, as he had parted with No Limit Records and so finds him working with a range of fresh talents and producers that could move his sound on as he shows how far ahead he can get of the game (just as he was when he calmed everything down in the ... ...Love To Give You Light” (Intro) 2. “Bang Out” You find that as he comes off the introductory track, he soon moves on into the straight-forward Gangsta Rap material. Personally, I felt that it was a rather weak one to get the release off to as you find that he gets down to one where JR Rotem provides some beats that sound far too ‘East Coast’ and quite unlike the kind of thing you expect from him and so it doesn’t seem to quite work here; making for ...

Ain't Nuttin' To It But To Blue It
Advantages: A few bangers Disadvantages: Some big slips
...on his 2002 album “Paid Tha Cost To Be Da Bo$$” wasn’t a fluke and can still do it at this stage. **Four Stars** 6. “Candy” Of all the singles on the album, for me, this was the most exciting as we see that he really hands things over to those in the Bay Area and gives Rick Rock a chance to do things in the contemporary Northern California way with some of the harder Hyphy beats going and from this he chooses to collaborate with a prominent artists ... ...Eiht and Golde Loc of Tha Eastsidaz). **Five Stars** 7. “Get A Light” I really can’t say that I felt that much for this one as I had with all the tracks leading up to this stage on the thing as you get one that has working with Timbaland on the production and you get the Reggae and Dancehall artist Damian Marley making an appearance too (although a rather unnecessary one that I felt like a bit of a waste when you consider how much he may have had ...
