The unique lyrics to the track, a little bit different from other artists and the great video that accompanied the track, managed to earn her the Video of the Year and Monster Single of the Year at the MTV Television Awards. ...music to the ears. Good Girl Gone Bad is Rihanna's third album, I hadn't really listened to much of her music until she released Umberlla last year, which instantly took my liking. Its a flawless album, no weak tracks and one of the first in my R&B collection of album's, and may also be the last. ...since I heard the single Rockferry back at the end of 2007. I have to say I was quite disappointed with it. I found that it did not live up to the hype. There are a couple of tracks that stand out, Rockferry being one, and Warwick Avenue being another. I find that the rest of the songs are just a little bit warbly. Superb stuff. - Emergency On Planet Earth "If anybody's listening - Emergency on planet Earth" Probably my favourite track on the album, the title track returns to the theme of environmental worries. It has quite some pace to it, and is as catchy as you could hope for. The guitar work just rules, lovely strings, and Jay Kay's vocals really make it something. ...Whatever It Is, I Just Can't Stop "Have to get up to get down, the remedy is in the sound" I have to say, even though it isn't a bad track, this is my least favourite track on the album. It still sounds great, but I'm not keen on the continuous stream of lyrics approach, with the music as just a backing. Disadvantages: seems a little rushed in recording it

When I bought this album I thought she was going to be a bit like Kate Nash, but she is not Adele has her own very unique style, a lot more soul and a bit jazzy at times. Adele has a unique voice as it's unlike most other recording artists, the only person that I think she sounds like is Amy Winehouse and their music styles are slightly different. If you have only heard chasing pavements, don't judge the album on that, because she has a better variety ...
...There are five amazing songs on this album these are Chasing Pavements, Daydreams, Best For Last, Hometown Glory and Cold Shoulder. What's more Adele wrote all of the lyrics on the album she also wrote most of the music for the songs as well so she is one very talented lady who deserves a lot of respect as there are not many artists these days that sings and writes their own material .
