Dance With My Father - Luther Vandross Advantages: Beautiful vocals and lyrics Disadvantages: None to mention A stunning song, his lyrics really did tug at my heart strings. His vocals and lyrics blew me away the first time i heard this track. IT tends to help us go back into the past and remember the relationships we had, the feelings and emotions we shared. In most cases, i am sure that this song will draw out a few tears, such is the power of the words of this song. With all this in mind, the value for money on this CD is great and to be a part of Luther ... ...is amazing. Luther Vandross is blessed with talent and ability and he demonstrates this in his vocals on this track. The energy really doesn't die! Advantages: 16 Brilliant songs Disadvantages: Only one picture of the band, the rest futuristic people The E.N.D, (The energy never dies) – The Black Eyed Peas album Buying, Quality and Value for Money I bought my copy of this CD from Tesco, for £9.89, but it can also be found in other supermarkets, or music stores like ZAVVI, HMV or Asda for around the same price. The CD is great value, and has 16 tracks on it, great value for money. Presentation The CD case is quite odd. There are no pictures of the black eyed peas, just futuristic ... ...which is available to watch on YouTube if you haven’t already seen it. On the back of the case is the name of the 16 songs, which are numbered and have the time that they play for after them. The actual CD is black, and in white writing at the top, it says “The E.N.D”. The booklet is in the same design with the futuristic people doping different movements, and information about the songs and who produced and wrote it ect. The Whut??? Advantages: Bangers throughout Disadvantages: Nothing specific Guided by Erick Sermon, who he would soon come to form part of Def Squad with (along with Keith Murray) it finds him performing the similar things to what EPMD (of which Erick Sermon is half) were known for with the ‘Funk Rap’, material coming out the East Coast and laced-heavily with P-Funk samples from the seventies and eighties. 1. “Psycho Ward” (Intro) 2. “Time 4 Sum Aksion” The album gets going with something hardcore as we get one of the singles ... ...we get a jam which uses a huge array of various samples from a little from Zapp, Sly & The Family Stone and LL Cool J to help him along the way as he gets the thing underway with a track that’s all there for the hype and has him showing just how much potential he has within him. WATCH OUT!!! THIS HARDMAN WILL GRAB YOU BY THE....... Advantages: Excellent feel good factor Disadvantages: Too good and you won't be able to stop dancing....again.....and again........and again In a music industry that is forever being labelled and categorised here is the opportunity to own, listen, live and dance with an Album that is surely its own little creature, always ready to fill your soul when you give it attention it craves. 'Attack of The Hundred Yard Hardman' is a brilliant album by Parka, to some, a little known scottish band that have been on the circuit for a while now but when you find them and join their world on this ... ...With many albums these days its usual to find those couple of tracks that just aren't up to the same level as the others but with this one all of the tracks are there to please. Yes there may be a couple that don't take your fancy but they are still good and knocking at your door for you to listen to them. * Broken Hearted Girl * Advantages: Voice , Lyrics Disadvantages: None! I was never a fan of Beyonce , not even when she was in Destiny's Child , although I will admit that I used to absolutely love some of their songs such as Survivor , Emotion and Lose My Breath. It was only since 'If I Were A Boy' came out that I really took notice of Beyonce. Soon after came Halo and I soon became a fan of Beyonce , even going to the effort of buying her album , "I Am...Sasha Fierce!". I absolutely love the album , and I loved the ... ...before it was released as a single. Broken Hearted is the 17th solo single from Beyonce and is taken off her latest album "I Am Sasha Fierce!". The single was released on August 28th 2009 and is currently at number 33 in the British Single Charts. Broken Hearted is obviously about a girl who is Broken Hearted so it has quite an emotional feel to it.
