Advantages: Very loverly and loyal Disadvantages: None really just alot of time needed.
that night, but it may have been from me laying with her aswell..hehe.
Anyway I won’t rant on about my little pup forever.
The main thing isthat when you get a puppy, you must take it to the vets straight away to make sure they are ok. She was only 11 weeks when we got her, and you must put up with a lot of toilet spills in your home and lots of chewed up things as well, they need lots of time and effort for them to become a loving and controlled little doggy, who will be well behaved.
And dogs are very tying and so please don’t go get one unless you have the time and effort to put into the dog, they need walks and lots of attention all the time and so cannot be left on there own for long periods of time.
Scooby is now getting on really well with the cats and kids; she still has the odd accident but not half as much as ...

Advantages: Great watch dog, gentle nature, incredibly affectionate nature to those they love Disadvantages: None!! unless you count being so damn cute it's hard to leave them!!
I'm writing this review for anyone who finds themselves in a similar position to me three years ago - wanted to get a dog but what breed?

I am ashamed to admit it but I found certain breeds ugly and wanted a pretty looking dog - I say ashamed because now that I have had my beloved Ridgeback for three years I am SUCH a dog lover and think all dogs are beautiful in their own way!
Anyway, at the time I was looking for cute and pretty. But it was important that they be a good guard dog too - not much protection in a pug for instance.
I did about a years worth of research and finally decided ...
