This book I found started off quite low-hearted. Claire had lost her husband a few years previously in an accident in Jamaica and she was still grieving. She was mother to a teenage daughter who had just gone on a school trip for a month to learn the Irish language, so you saw Claire in a lonely little world. As Claire now had a phobia of getting into cars since the accident, it restricted her life even further.
While her daughter, Georgia, was away she phoned her mum to say that she had thought a boy was interested in her but he wasn't. Claire started devising a list of how to help Georgia in her quest to find somebody decent. As Claire had married her childhood sweetheart, she had not got any experience of dating, so she registered on a dating website and began to date one or two people.
