After the last doll exits the clock, another pair of doors are opened to reveal two large toy blocks -- one block with the hour, and one block and gongs which are hit by puppets show the time once for every 15 minutes. The sounds of IASW dominate the area. There are some lovely topiary displays in the surrounding gardens and the Disneyland Railroad actually passes in front of the main building. The journey to 'the small world' starts under a covered loading area - the entire attraction, in fact, is indoors - so ideal for bad weather- it is also air conditioned so if the weather is warm it is nice and cool inside. Advantages: Fun for Thomas fans
Disadvantages: None

Emily is a lovely little book in the 'My Thomas Story Library'. She is a single Stirling Engine and she is a dark green colour with yellow trims. The cover of the book has a picture of Emily and above this is a pink banner with the title in yellow writing. The back cover of the book has smaller pictures of the other titles available in the collection. THE STORY The first page in the book has a introduction to Emily from the fat Controller, he tells us that when she first arrived on the island the other engines were very unfriendly to her but they soon learnt that things are not always as them seem. The story starts by a new engine arriving on the island, the fat controller introduced the new engine to Thomas, her name was Emily.
