Think of SteveHarley and what do you think of? I would have a pretty safe bet that you would say 'Make me Smile' or even 'judy Teen'.
Of course the great man has done other stuff since 'Sebastian' impressed the continent all those years ago but the album 'Quality of Mercy' is the first for twenty six years, and is worth waiting for.
And what an album it is.
The first track, 'The last Goodbye' was also released as a single later on in the year but with little success although I'm sure Steve's fan base shot out to their local music shop to buy it. It is a jaunty tune penned by himself and Jim Cregan.
'Journey's End' ( A Father's Promise') speaks for itself, written in Steve's unique narrative style, moving as ever and uplifting.

**Introduction**
There have been many bands in Rock History who have experienced continued success despite a number of lineup changes, One such band who have managed to do this are Lynyrd Skynyrd. It was Tennessee Williams's first successful play; he went on to become one of America's most highly regarded playwrights. It was first performed on Broadway in 1945, meeting with astounding box-office success and a Drama Critics Circle Award. This critical acclaim was not undeserved. With the absence of the father, their home became emotionally and financially stagnant. I don't want to ruin the plot, the surprise the heart wrenching story, so I won't. I'll simply leave you with the last famous lines of the play that have been some of the best in ...
