Hi all, so abit about me, nothing much to say really, I like all really girly things, music, food, and also enjoy the odd film, I am new here, so be nice :)

Linkin Park is one of my favourite bands, they play an alternative American rock/metal music, their first mainstream album Hybrid Theory was an amazing collection of songs. This album has its own unique style of rock music combining scream singing, rapping and electric percussion.
The track listing on this cd is:
Papercut This is a great song about paranoia, this song really shows of the talents of all members in the band, it is mostly rapped and one of the best songs on the album.
One Step Closer This is another amazing song though it is quite an angry song so might not suit all tastes (like most of this album), this song is about not being able being close to breaking point after taking abuse from someone and taking a stand.
With You This song is about not being able to get someone out of your head, even though they are distant and dont want you. This is another really great song on this album.
Points of Authority This is a very confident song about taking a stand against some one whos self righteous, this song was remixed with Jay Z with 99 Problems on a later album Collision Course.
Crawling This is one of my favourite songs on the album, about not being able to get someone out of your head even though your try and try, there is no rapping in this song and Chesters vocals are really good.
Run Away A song about running away from everyone and starting new, this is another quite angry song. Its a great listen and very similar to other songs on this album.
By Myself A song about whether its best to lie and fit in or to be yourself and be unaccepted, this is another angry song on this album but its still a great listen. Again its very similar to other songs on the album.
In the End This is one of the more famous tracks from this cd about how with some people some times trying doesnt do any good in the end. Its mostly rapped and also shows off chesters great singing voice.
Place For My Head Another song about wanting to get away from someone, this song is again very similar to the other songs on the cd, however it is still a great song and typical Linkin Park at the start of their career.
Forgotten This is a song about forgeting about the bad things in your past, this song is fast paced and another one of my favourites on the album.
Cure for an Itch This is an instrumental song with absolutley no singing in it mixed by Joe Hahn.
Pushing Me Away A song about not being able walk on egg shells for someone who wont accept you for who you are.
I think that this is a great album and well worth checking out if your into rock genre music however some songs can be very similar but they are all very good tracks.

Advantages: Wow, where do I start? The lyrics have meaning, each track is unique, and anyone... pop lover or punk, can find something enjoyable in this album. Disadvantages: The tracks are quite short, with one being a mere 2:30... but each track has massive replay value.
Advantages: timeless songs and endless entertianment for evey occasion Disadvantages: the cover is a big confusing but that would be the only downfall of the product
