Advantages: Some amazing tracks Disadvantages: a couple of weak spots

I recently aquired a few CDs off my cousin and this was in the pile, I love Nickleback's music its always been quite...relaxing in a way.

The Band are promoting this album by touring this year..im not sure if it is just around the states or what but they are starting in New York
Something In Your Mouth ****
This is a great track with some good guitarring in it, The beat is interesting and the vocals are superb, Not my favourite track off the album though. This track also has a great bass line which goes well with the vocals.

"DarkHorse" is the sixth album from the alternative rock band from Canda, Nickelback. This 2008 relase, came after the great success which they accomplished from the initial, and re-reease of "All the Right Reasons", which came out in 2005. Despite having numerous hits over the years, "Rockstar" amy have hindered the group as the big tune quickly got annoying to many listeners, and so with this album, they attempt to re-create the success which they had prior when that track came out.

Although I haven't heard it on the radio (due to the fact I would never go onto a station which would play them), this was the mildly successful second single by the band, and it has them go for a Hard Rock track, where their lyrical content is largely adult-themed. DarkHorse is the 2008 album release from Canadian rock band Nickelback. It is their 6th album, the other 5 being:

Now, Nickelback tends to be one of those groups people know they've heard of, but can't think of many, if any of their songs. Nickelback's best know tracks, at least in England are How you Remind Me (released in 2001 from their Silver Side Up album), Photograph and Rock Star (released 2005 and 2006 respectively, both from their All the Right Reasons album).

The Bowerbirds are the duo of singer/guitarist Phil Moore and accordionist/drummer Beth Tacular. (Since the original self-released version of this debut album in 2007, they've added multi-instrumentalist Mark Paulson as well.) Moore and Tacular wrote the songs on this haunting, pastoral album while living in a remote cabin in a national forest, and the solitude and beauty of their surroundings come through in Moore's nature-themed metaphors and the simple acoustic beauty of the sparse arrangements. Highlights include "In Our Talons" and the epic "Olive Hearts." This 2008 reissue adds two new songs.
