Advantages: At best, inspirational, haunting and atmospheric Disadvantages: At worst, just pleasant background music
...preternatural beings dancing round an enchanted green fire. ( In fact, come to think of it, this is great inspiring music to write stories to! Ideal atmospheric backdrop...)
The enchantment fades somewhat now, and the album become far more toned down and earthly. No more wonderful Gaelic chants for a while. "There For You" (rather dully) explores the ups and downs of a human relationship. The soft drum machine and piping sax don't really evoke much sense of drama.
"Mystery Game" quietly describes a spirit of adventure and longing. It has a slow tick-tock beat and brings with it a disappointing sense, after the first couple of blinders, that things have come off the boil a bit. Lyrically, too, it seems leaden and uninspired.
The next track "Struggle" raises the game slightly - the band's optimism shines through in a floating ode about...

Advantages: Great songs to listen to! Disadvantages: The mixture of songs could leave you saying 'what?'
...Even though there is only one theme song within this album, the album doesn't live to disappoint. It also rewakens old songs such as the Chubby Checkers's Twist. It has songs that you can rock to and songs that will just give you goosebumps. My favourite song has to be Snow Patrol's Signal Fire because it just hits something in your heart that makes me weep. it does give me the thrill listening to each song and if you don't own this album, get it! This is by far the best of all the three films' albums and this will get your spider-senses tingling and it won't disappoint the ones who have brought the previous albums. But I highly recommend it for the new buyers!...

Advantages: Just as good as the Other two Disadvantages: All songs are copied by UB40
...To anyone thinking about buying this album and has heard the other two, thinking maybe it is not as good as the first Labour of Love albums, it's really not true.
Labour of Love III has a more uplifting sound compared to the other two, And like today's music it is almost buffered over to make it sound more crisp and digital i guess. The lead singer Ali Campbell has one of the sweetest sounding voices known in reggae music.
All Labour of Love albums and all songs on them are from artists UB40 have respected, but UB40 has my respect for making these songs sound sometimes better and much sweeter sounding than the originals.
Personally i Ioved this album, powerful lyrics and real musical instruments, it's not just the reggae lover that will like this album but also many other people. There that good and they will never stop making music...
