A one i havn't heard as much as the others, it had an edge to it which is good. A good mix of quick and slow as the music travels through the song.

Again, not one i have heard much, but there isn't anything on the album i don't like. The gutair at the beginning is great, sets the scene of the song.

My Chemical Romance, a band which originated in New Jersey, America, are musical Masterminds. The band consists of Gerard Way - Lead Vocals, Frank Iero - Gutair, Ray Toro - Gutair and Backing Vocals, Mikey Way - Bass, and Bob Bryar - Drums.
The Tracks
1 - Romance The first track is quite a calm, relaxing song played mostly by the gutairs. I feel the song brings a sence of sadness, and prepares you for the superb journey which you will surely be pulled into.
2 - Honey This Mirror Isn't Big Enough For The Two Of Us The gutair picks up the beat as soon as 'Romance' finishes, and is shortly followed by the drums. This track, written by Gerard about a girl who tried to stop him taking drugs ect, really gives you an insight to the band. The beat is great - very catchy, and you'll pick up the lyrics in no time.
3 - Vampires Will Never Hurt You The song starts slow, but the beat picks up quickly. Totally different to the first two songs, this track is more the bands fantasy creatures.
4 - Drowning Lessons The beat and rythem of the track is brilliant. You can almost picture a video for it in your head. Gerards voice isn't as strongly recognizable in the begining; but comes through futher in.
5 - Our Lady of Sorrows A one i havn't heard as much as the others, it had an edge to it which is good. A good mix of quick and slow as the music travels through the song.
6 - Headfirst for Halos Again, not one i have heard much, but there isn't anything on the album i don't like. The gutair at the beginning is great, sets the scene of the song.
7 - Skylines and Turnstiles Excelent beat, not the best song they've done, but far from the worst! You can truly feel the emotion bursting from all the songs.
8 - Early Sunsets over Monroville I really enjoy this track. It's simple, yet pure brilliance. The music is well made, and the lyrics are easy to pick up, and releate too.
9 - This is the Besty Day Ever With the beat kicking in right away, and the vocals soon following, you get a real feel for the band. It fits together really well, and i find there music quite calming.
10 - Cubicles Cubicals was written about office romance, and like most of the songs, has a great beat, and is very easy to listen too. And exceltent track
11 - Demolition Lovers The gutair starts the song off in quite a calm, relaxing way, and gerards low, slow vocals really pull out the emotions lying underneith the song. This track is a bit different from the rest of the song, and is personally, my favourite from the entire album. I would recomend you all purchase this song regardless.
Overall
Overall, i would definatly say this Album is one to buy. Though different from there other stuff, you may be a bit suprised at first if your used to Black Parade and Three Cheers for Sweet revenge. It shows them in a different light. Most of the tracks were written when some of the band members weren't in a very good place, so a few of the tracks are about Gerard's girlfriend, and killing her. The ablum tells the begining to a story about a man who must kill a thousand people to escape hell and be with the woman he loves, though she isn't how he expected her to be... The story is continued in Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge
This CD of pure genius can be found in most major stores, like Woolworths, Tesco ect.

Advantages: Spooky feeling music, great early MCR work Disadvantages: If you've only heard Three Cheers, it's very different!
...a big fan of MCR, I thought I definitely had to get this album, though was surprised at how different it sounded. However, after months I finally got into it. The style difference will probably come as a big turn-off to people who've only heard Three Cheers work, and I would not advise anyone who isn't into underground music to purchase this without listening to a song or two from the album first, not including "Romance" or "Headfirst for Halos"; ... ...Halos" was the only song I liked from the start on this album, showing just how different in style it is from the other songs I absolutely hated.
However, if you're into the underground music and meaningful lyrics are your thing, I'd definitely tell you to pick up a copy of this album. It's a fantastic piece of music when it comes to it, and though it has some songs even I can't get into ("Early Sunsets Over Monroeville"), it's definitely something ...

...after. It starts extremely depressing, I must admit, 'the amount of pills I'm taking counteracts the booze I'm drinking'. But don't give up just yet; listen a little farther and you'll find a song about heartbreak, fidelity, and losing yourself. The first time you may hear it, it may sound a bit aggressive, but only the next times do you notice the soft echoes in the background. The video for this single is rather disturbing, but keep in mind that ... ...like the previous song, but I recommend not watching the video the first time you hear it. It is rather simplistic, and you may miss the depth of the song, which goes far past thoughts of mythical blood-slurping monsters. At the center, the song seems to be about not being afraid to take the plunge, whether plunging a spike through your lover's heart or simply not being afraid of who you really are. The polar opposite of the previous song, this one ...

Advantages: Original MCR, A brilliant debut Disadvantages: Fans of Three Cheers/Black Parade may find it too different
I Brought You My Bullets was the debut album of MCR released back in 2002 recorded just 3 months after the formation of the band. Although many people class it as emo or pop-punk i much rather call it rock. 4 singles were released from this album:
2002 - Honey, This MIrror Isn't Big Enough for the Two of Us
2002 - Vampires Will Never Hurt You
2004 - Headfirst for Halos
2004 - Our Lady of Sorrows
Although brilliant tracks in their own way they ... ...none made their way up the charts in either the UK or the US.
The album begins with the instrumental track entitled Romance and is rather much like Interlude on Three Cheers. Then comes the real quality of the album. Every song has its own meaning which are quite apparent upon reading the lyrics....i'll let you read them yourselves and not spoil the suprise. The album will appear to have at least one weak track to any music fan due to the diverse ...

...original genius of MCR as I think we can all agree they have changed a lot... for good or bad is up to you to decide.
I think this album is a must for any my chemical romance fan. Every song has a meaning and I can guarantee you that you can relate to at least one of the song's lyrics. Only four of the songs on here were ever released on single, 'Vampires Will Never Hurt You' is among these four. It is a great song with a catchy tune. The video ... ...music videos :)

Reviews which might be of interest for "I Brought You My Bullets You Brought Me Your Love - My Chemical Romance"
This "MyChemicalRomance" album would probably only have been heard of by true "MyChemicalRomance" fans. As it was their first realised album it has a slightly more "unpolished" tone when compared to the rest of their albums. As anyone who has listened to "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge" and "The Black Parade" will know that each album has its own individual concept. "Ibroughtyoumybulletyoubroughtmeyourlove", is not different in that respect.
From this album you can see the true raw talent this band has from the very first song. With a strong concept of love and death this album shows us what the lead singer Gerard Way's idea of true romance is. The romance described does not only extend to humans but also to a romance with vampires. This album would be ideal for any mychemicalromance fan or even anyone who is a fan ...
Advantages: Tracks aren't edited Disadvantages: Voice drowned out by instruments
MyChemicalRomance's first album is intruiging. The song titles are unusual and the songs themselves... well they are just brilliant. When I first heard the album I was taken aback. This album shows that you do not have to edit the recordings to make them sound flawless - having the album unedited is brilliant. It made me feel as though I was at a gig listening to the band live, rather than through the speakers of my CD player. There is a minor drawback to this album, however, which is the fact that Gerard Way's voice is drowned out slightly by the drums and guitars, which is a shame because he has an amazing voice. This album also shows that this band thinks about their lyrics... they are writing about past experiences which is always nice for fans to hear that their are others who have gone through similar experiences. ...
Advantages: Appeals to everyone, great lyrics with meaningful tracks. Disadvantages: None!
' and 'Cancer' have the best lyrics which are very easy to relate to. If you get a chance I would definetly look up the lyrics to these songs in particular.
I think this album is a must for any mychemicalromance fan. Every song has a meaning and I can guarantee you that you can relate to at least one of the song's lyrics.
I strongly recommend their other albums; 'Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge' and 'IBroughtYouMyBullets, YouBroughtMeYourLove'. For more information on MyChemicalRomance, just type them into www.google.co.uk or www.myspace.com or visit their official site: www.mychemicalromance.com.

My Chemical Romance: Gerard Way (vocals); Ray Toro, Frank Iero (guitar); Mikey Way (bass guitar); Matt Pelissier (drums). My Chemical Romance are another in the swarm of hard-edged, emo-tinged punk-pop bands flooding the market of the early-to-mid 2000s, working firmly in a post-hardcore musical vein that doesn't rule out sensitivity and inspection in lyrical content. On I BROUGHT YOU MY BULLETS, YOU BROUGHT ME YOUR LOVE, the band's debut, My Chemical Romance shows that they don't fool around on either count. Bolstered by chugging, crunching guitars, pulse-quickening rhythms, and passionate, anthemic melodies straight from the alt-rock rulebook, MCR unleashes a blistering intensity that encourages raised, clenched fists, while incorporating elements of nu metal and punk with surprising skill. Lead singer Gerard Way has a way with words, and I BROUGHT YOU MY BULLETS also serves as a tour through the bleaker corridors of the human spirit. Way's angst-infused vocals and lyrics about loneliness, anger, substance abuse, and alienation, prove MCR is fully able to articulately explore the dark side. The combination of thoughtful, expressive themes and pounding, no-nonsense rock buries MCR's softer, bedsitting emo brethren any day of the week, and promises good things to come from this New Jersey outfit.
