Having purchased an iPhone in the last few months I have to say that it has to be the best mobile phone thatI have owned. At first it takes some time playing about with it and admittedly a couple of phone calls to Apple support to discover exactly how to get the most out of the phone and to get my head around using it but actually when you do get over the initial newness it is one of the easiest phones to use.
The iPhone has all the typical basic functions of any standard mobile phone but it then goes beyond that as i have been able to download loads of applications, there is a range of apps many are free and others have a charge for downloading them. Well obviously I hear you say, but what this does better than any previous MP3 player I have owned is allow you to access you catalogue easily and intuitively. I personally always felt the wheel system on the older iPod was a touch difficult and not as slick as the adverts made out. The graphical and text based interface on this iPod is far better. The graphical view, which allows you to flick from album cover to album cover is very quick and visually interesting. Its great to hand this over to a friend and let them flick through your collection like vinyl covers. The sound quality is good both through headphones and via a radio transmitter for in the car, as I use it. If you do want to go down the radio transmitter route I would recommend an iTrip and the frequency 87 ...
