This song is an empowering song which after a hard break up is always a positive thing. I have highlighted the two verses which I think are particularly potent! Im sure each person will have their own lines which make them feel empowered, those are mine!!!!
Gaynors songs, particularly i will survive are gay anthems and are played regularly in clubs and karaoke bars making them as popular today as they were in the eighties.

I'm not sure if thats the cheapest but seems to be from limited looking!
This review is less about the CD's available and more about the healing potential of this song. I recommend it if you have been hurt, cheated on, dumped or treated badly by a partner. It is a song which can make you feel immediatley better, stronger and more fabulous so give it a try!!!!!!!
Although this review is supposed to be of the album, I think this song is the absolute gem! If you are going to buy it, let it be for this song please!!!!

I believe that a purchase of "Disco Fever" provide you with pretty much a decent selection of classic disco classics. I dont feel that the tracks on the CD are by far the best funk/disco tracks out there, however for a nostalgic take on the disco era, not a bad effort. heres the track listing:

This a double filled with 43 of the best disco tracks from the 70's and 80's. It's by far the best disco album that I've seen around - and was on sale when I bought it (which makes it even better). There are only about five or six tracks on the whole album that I don't really like that much.
It includes classics such as: 'Boogie Nights' - Heatwave, 'IWillSurvive' - GloriaGaynor, 'Can You Feel The Force' - Real Thing, 'Instant Replay' - Dan Hartman, 'Contact' - Edwin Starr and 'Boogie Wonderland' - Earth, Wind and Fire
An essential album for all disco lovers ...
