Advantages: you canīt stop dancing to their music!! Itīs jazz and itīs funk. Disadvantages: no disadvantages, except for Speak Low only plays live in Spain & youīre all missing a lot of fun on the dance floor in the UK
I was lucky enough to get to know this group playing live in Madrid, Spain. They belong to the jazz and funk circuit there. And I havenīt skipped a concert ever since. And what is more: I went straight to the web and did not stop until I found their CD!
If you happen to be considering whether you should buy or not this record... forget about it and buy it. You will never regret it. You will find a type of music that might remind you of James Taylor ... ...jazz whereas some others are sheer funk and you simply canīt stop dancing to their rhythm. Their jazz songs have a very good brass section, and the funky ones have an incredible keyboard. The guitar and the drums are also excellent. Iīm more of a jazz listener, and still I love each and every one of their songs.
And I assure you that when they play live they display not only a performance of amazing high quality : they actually groove to their music ...
