...not a groovy tune, what I'm trying to say is that you wouldn't really be dancing to this song. Then the chorus comes which isn't that good and then the 2nd verse comes. The verses are pretty quiet so all you hear is the voice. ...one was not oversuccessful (hence I'm not Dead, and about eating disorders??) but it showed many of the encouraging features of the first. God, what a disappointment. The whole CD is riddled with influences almost to the point of copying and the band that was so good and soulful on the first has been replaced with a Fall Out Boy line-up who all hammer away gormlessly at their geek punk instruments. Pink, lose the nerds, lose the punk, lose the standard targets, team up with a bunch of old lags who really know how to do light and shade, get Andy Sheppard on sax, wheel in John Renbourn on acoustic, try Eddie Jobson on keys and violin and you will produce a six-star album that I will buy and love.
