Hi there, I'm a single mum of a wonderful 16 year old called Charlie, or Charlotte when I'm mad :-) I'm self employed and am lucky enough to work from home. I'm a self confessed geek and love being in front of my pc.

An easy-listening album with more than a touch of folk to it. This is my favourite album by the fantastic Bright Eyes, this band deserve so much more recognition than they have got as yet. I love all the songs on this album, they all do something different, take you someplace else. My favourite songs though are, First Day Of My Life, a song that most people will find a connection with, Landlocked Blues, and Poison Oak, a song with oomph! The lead singer, Conor Oberst, has one of the most emotional voices I have heard, if you had the chance to see him at Glastonbury 07 you will know what I mean! He sings in his own style, his voice is gritty, occasionally cracks but yet it works so well with their music. If you like music that makes you feel, really feel, then you will love this.

Not an artist I'm aware of, you make this sound like an easy going album. May have to hunt it out.

Never heard of Bright Eyes, but I do like music that draws me in emotionally, so perhaps will have to look him up .
