Advantages: Probably can be picked up for a fiver now Disadvantages: None
...Honestly this is a really underrated album and performer. Jimmy Nail is class in my eyes, hes got a distinctive and unique sounding voice that really manages to captivate and entrance you,its definately raw and edgy yet at the same time soft and subtle. Even though this album is a bit of an oldie, its from 1994 I still think it sounds as good as the day it was first released.
This album is not a disappointment, from the ever popular classic -Croccodile shoes to some lesser known tracks such as Angel and Dont wanna go home, there is definately going to be something on this album to suit every one.
The tracklisting for the album I have is as follows
1- Crocodile shoes
2- Cowboy dreams
3- Only one heart
4- Love will find someone for you
5- Bitter and twisted
6- Dragons
7- Don't wanna go home
8- Between a woman and a man
9- Angel
10- Once...

Advantages: Some awesome tracks Disadvantages: One or two fillers
...As greatest hits collections go, you at least have to give this one 10/10 for the originality of it's title. No 'Greatest Hits', 'Best Of' or 'Ultimate Collection' here, oh no it's 'The Nail File'. A bit of a pun I know, but at least it's different.
JIMMY NAIL
Jimmy Nail first came into the public eye as Oz, the loutish Geordie bricklayer in Auf Weidersehen Pet. Initially only known for his acting, we got a brief hint of his singing in the second series of Auf Weidersehen Pet. His first solo album 'Take it or leave it' was released in 1986 and included a cover version of the Rose Royce song 'Love don't live here anymore'. Jimmy then concentrated on TV work for a few...

Advantages: Heaven is a Jimmy Page solo. The lryics are something else, political correctness be damned Disadvantages: Only nine tracks and forty minutes. I don't like drum solo's much
...listened to this on my dad's prized (Son, you touch this record, you die!) LP I thought that it was scratched and I contemplated the grizzly end I was facing. After being reminded of my psychological trauma, the song kicks back in with a drum solo. When the band comes back in and lands on the double notes, Jimmy Page shines, with a short but intense guitar solo that will test your eardrums.
The song then moves back into the driving riff and Plant continues his warbling with lyrics which are deliciously unpolitically correct.
"You've been coolin', baby, I've been droolin',"
"All the good times I've been misusin',"
"Way, way down inside, I'm gonna give you my love,"
"I'm gonna give you every inch of my love," (I wonder what he means?)
"Gonna give you my love."
The vocal solo at the end really demonstrates Robert Plant's tremendous talent...
