recording,Ice Caps--Peaks of Telluridedocuments the joy, musicianship and weirdness that is the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. Held every June in the mountains of Colorado, Telluride has become the premier hippie-grass event, and you can chalk up its success in large part to Bush and his old New Grass Revival cohorts. If these 1990s concert recordings are not the best music Bush has made, they're among the most fun. The set moves from a zippy "Girl of the North Country" to blistering jams such as "Big Mon"--featuring the mind-boggling banjo of Béla Fleck--and the seven-minute electric noodle-off "Speak of the Devil". He also duets with John Cowan on a gorgeous version of Van Morrison's "Hungry for Your Love" and a joyous cover of Little Feat's "Sailin' Shoes". Along the way, Bush offers electric guitar licks in addition to his usual fiddle and mandolin breaks, all fascinating as fractals, as well as some underrated lead singing. Beside comrades-in-jam such as Cowan, Jon Randall Stewart, Jerry Douglas and Larry Atamanuik, Bush couldn't be more inhis element or more entertaining.--Roy Kasten

Advantages: Non violent Disadvantages: Non interesting
We (sorry,I mean Father Christmas!) bought this game for our five year old son, as he is mad about fire engines. I do feel that at five he is really still a little too young for computers and consoles, but hey, he's a kid and he loves them so we've allowed him to use my Nintendo DS when we have travelled and more recently for short intervals at home. To reach a happy medium, we decided he could have a few of his own games, but they must not contain any fighting.
In this game, you play the part of a young boy, Sam Power. Sam is helping out his uncle, who runs the fire station.
To Begin
The opening screen gives the usual options, to create a new game or continue a saved one and also a chance to access the options. The only reason I mention this, is because in addition to seeing the credits and choose your language, you ...
Advantages: Can make your car look sporty - to you? Disadvantages: Can look tacky.
the fuel cap cover being reviewed here, is actually a stick on cover for the plastic flap that covers the fuel cap, the idea being it makes your car look like it is fitted with a quick release rascing type fuel filler.
Personally I think the idea is a little dated, and most tend to lok cheap and nasty, but the choice is yours. You and you alone can decide what looks good on your pride and joy.
Race X produce a catalogue, which is very good, and you will see over 300 items in there, including these stick on covers. Also stocked, are a lot more practical items, like locking wheel studs, and wiper blades.
Naturally they stock the usual range of hi-performance induction kits, also known as cone filters.
The company Race X, has a good history, and have been operating for quite a long time now, they are beginning to get a very ...
Advantages: The most original, mind-blowing TV series of all time Disadvantages: None
A decade and a half having now passed since I first saw David Lynch's masterpiece Twin Peaks, I've decided at last to put pen to paper (in a virtual sense) and write something about this truly exceptional and extraordinary series.
"Exceptional" and "Extraordinary" are words that are perhaps overused these days in the English language; however, I remain, fifteen years later, utterly convinced that Twin Peaks deserved to be draped with such superlatives, and more. In a nutshell, this is in my experience the greatest TV drama series ever made. It is also so much more than a drama series, combining elements of the supernatural, of surreal and unfathomable events inextricably linked but in a way that defies explanation.
Before delving into the intricacies of this one-off work of genius, let me provide an introduction to the background ...

Album Notes
Personnel: Sam Bush (vocals, electric guitar, acoustic & electric mandolins, fiddle); Jon Randall (vocals, guitar); Jeffro Beck (vocals, electric mandolin); John Cowan (vocals, bass); Dan Sadowski, Pastor Mustard (spoken vocals); Darrell Scott (guitar); Bela Fleck (banjo); Jerry Douglas (lap steel guitar, dobro); John Magnie (accordion); Larry Atamunik (drums). Engineers include: Kooster McAllister, David Sinko. Recorded at Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Telludire, Colorado between June 1992 & June 1999. Includes liner notes by Dan Sadowski and Pastor Mustard. If bluegrass is folk music on steroids, then ICE CAPS: PEAKS OF TELLURIDE is bluegrass on rocket fuel and kickapoo joy juice. Nashville mandolin ace Sam Bush is joined by other legendary pickers on this set of performances culled from 25 years of concerts at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. Bob Dylan's "Girl From the North Country," a bluegrass favorite, is offered as a joyous, strumabilly romp. Bush tosses off the vocals in his fine, reedy tenor, then engages dobro master Jerry Douglas in a thrilling exchange of solos. Bush shows off his award winning fiddle chops, leading banjoist Bela Fleck, Douglas, and others on an incendiary stomp through "Big Mon," the Bill Monroe standard. This is fun music, and the crowd hollers itself hoarse with approval on Bush's hit "Same Ol' River," John Hiatt's "Memphis in the Meantime," and even a surprisingly apt reading of Kool And The Gang's "Celebrate." Bluegrass purists may look askance, but the virtuosity and huge good time captured here make this collection ideal for all lovers of rocking acoustic music.
