Advantages: Some good tracks Disadvantages: Some bad tracks
...relies on Madonna’s gliding, pure voice, interspersed with stylish drum beats and more ‘mmm, mmm’s from the lady herself. The whole sound is suitably wintry, as is the beautiful video, relying on a black-clad Madge and a variety of black animals (a dog and some crows) as the chords resonate. Interesting fact: this song was considered for several icecream ads but turned down as it was deemed to unearthly for icecream!

Take a Bow – Taken from Bedtime Stories and Something to Remember
A song that features on two of my favourite albums, this is a melodic and sombre track that reminds me of listening to Madonna with my sister when I was younger. Madonna sings and murmurs ‘I’ve always been in love with you/I guess you’ve always known its true’ sounding like a return to form for husky...

Advantages: Phenomenal, yet sick Debut Disadvantages: Some weaker moments as expected

Eminem, born Marshall Mathers, was a hip-hop fan since youth. In listening to his idols such as Nas, Biggie, Redman, Rakim, Outkast, Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap, N.W.A. and many more, he wanted to be like these artists, who never cared about selling out (at least not during this time), and only wanted to bring realness and respect to hip-hop music. Advantages: Great production, great lyrics Disadvantages: Explicit, but it depends on how easily you are offended!
...The Slim Shady album is one of the best albums I have heard. Eminem's second album (after his debut one, Infinite) is excellent.
With 20 tracks, there is a track to listen to for every type of mood that you are in! His talent is just so apparent. The special edition version has 3 extra songs on another c-d (2 freestyles) and a c-d rom element.
I bought the Slim Shady lp after his most recent one, Marshall Mathers and so my expectations were high because I loved the Marshall Mathers lp. I was so impressed, it was not a let down.
I can't stop listening to it, it is permanantely in my c-d player! My favourite tracks are Just Don't Give A F**k, Still Don't Give A F**k, Rock Bottom and As The World Turns.
The lyrics on every track are amazing as is the production. The lyrics are so clever, and some reflect his past. Slim said that he...
