Advantages: German metal at its best!

.... Excellent! 3. Sonne (Sun) - 4.32 min Eins, zwei, drei......you are counted in (in German of course) before the explosive guitars crash in. This is probably the most well known Rammstein track. It is certainly the first one I heard and it got me hooked right from the very beginning. It is a somewhat dark and menacing song with a heavy industrial feel to it. The lyrics are quite simplistic ( Hier kommt die Sonne - Here comes the sun) but that just adds to its menace and foreboding.Not even the operatic warbling in the background ruin this track. 4. Ich Will (I Want) - 3.37 min Ich Will growls Till menacingly. This to me seems like a big list of I wants and indeed that is what it translates as. A great sing-a-long track with powerful guitars. There is an audience sing-a-long at the end which I don't usually like. It sounds great here... Read review

Send Away The Tigers is the first album since James Dean Bradfield and Nicky Wire each released their own respective solo efforts, and it's not difficult to see how there individual efforts have inspired a new bouyancy with this latest Manics release. It's as loud and obnoxious as their lyrical attacks on the likes of Tony Blair and the US for their role in the Geneva Convention recently. Track Overview: 'Your Love Alone Is Not Enough' Featuring Nina Perrson (of Cardigan fame). I was suitably surprised to learn of the Manics choice to duet with an artist like this. Remembering the Cardigans stint of the 90's, Perrson's voice was lighjt, airy and bubbly, hardly in-keeping with the more brutish and bolshty sounds of the Manics. But it's that kind of seminal, out-of-character inclusion on an album like this that makes it all... Read review

Advantages: Great new stuff by Send More Paramedics

...This is the new split LP featuring british zombiecore kings Send More Paramedics and american mad men Zombie Apocalypse. With 10 tracks of tharshing zombiecore (5 for each band) this album gives you a taste of the newer SMP material and some of the best stuff that i have heard from Zombie Apocalypse. Run down track by track: 1. Just Meat - Zombie Apocalypse: Quick opener sets the tone for the ZA half of the record. 2. God I Hope The Data Is Lying - Zombie Apocalypse: 1 min and 1 second of chanting lyrics, clever riffs and with pop sensibility. 3. Breaking Off Fingers - Zombie Apocalypse: More of the same, brutal thrash with a nod to grindcore. 4. Murder Be A Lady Tonight - Zombie Apocalypse: More classic stuff from the ex Shai Hulud boys. 5.
