Looks wise it's a bit less sleek than the PS3 and Wii but has the bonus of facias, you get one free with most bundles in store now, depends where you buy it.
Performance, I bought an extension cable for mine and keep it in a cupboard away from my TV as it's very loud, but needs to be as the fan works overtime because it gets very hot. You can buy add on things that will keep itcool and make a little less noise, but not a lot.
The wireless controllers are really responsive, can't tell the difference between them and a wired one.
Came with everything needed to set it up, it's not HD ready unlike the PS3 which is a shame but it's much cheaper.
