Imaginations From The Other Side [Remastered] - Blind Guardian

I waited for 3 years - was it really worth it

Advantages: Most aggressive album of the band, just great songs on it
Disadvantages: perhaps too heavy for some...

Well, as surely expected I'm going to continue my review-series on Blind Guardian's albums... After the "Somewhere far beyond" album (released in 1992) the band went on an excessive tour which lead them also to Japan where they recorded their first live album, Tokyo Tales. After the major success of the tour Blind Guardian took a short break and after that started writing new material for the upcoming album. Virgin, their label, saw that the band sold very well and granted them enough time to record another masterpiece of Metal. "Imaginations from the other side" was the title of the album and it was recorded, mixed and mastered with Flemming Rasmussen at Sweet Silence Studios, Copenhagen, Denmark where also Metallica recorded some of their groundbreaking albums in the late eighties. The Other Boleyn Girl - From the Other Side

Advantages: Wonderful depiction of the life of the other boleyn sister
Disadvantages: A little slow to start

The Other Boleyn Girl tells the story of Anne Boleyn's sister Mary. The king, Henry VIII, currently with first wife Catherine of Aragon, is facing difficulties with his marriage, and word reaches the Boleyn family, that there is an opportunity for one of the girls to worm their way into the king's arms. Though the plan is set out for Anne to undertake this task, it is in fact Mary whom the king notices first. They begin a affair, and Mary bears his first child - a son. However, the story as we know it begins to emerge whilst Mary is pregnant, and Henry's attentions then turn to Anne, after having been to the Queen's court in France, who has had a major change in personality, and the king is drawn to it. Mary is soon pushed out of the picture, and the story of Anne Boleyn begins to unfold, with the birth of Elizabeth, and her attempt ...

THE GUARDIAN.

Advantages: A good value, excellent read.
Disadvantages: None.
