Madonna well what can I say I think the name says it all don't you. Well the Immaculate Collection: The Best of Madonna done back in 1990 is the first greatest hit album by the American Singer-songwriter Madonna it contains a few newly remixed versions of her greatest hits from 1982 to 1990. The album may be a bit out of date now but it's still a true classic and to still be around for this long and get people buying and talking about it says a lot about the album and her creative work.
Madonna is a true unique artist and is still around till this very present day still making good records and doing well in the charts even at the tender age of 50 years old even though she looks as if she is still in her 40's. Know wonder why she is referred to as the queen of pop almost 3 decades in the music industry and still going strong she is a worthy deserver of her crown.
This is a fantastic album and I love listening to nearly all of the tracks from this album and because this it is such a great album I find it hard to pick a favourite which it not like me, as sometimes I tend a bit picky. All the songs taken from the tracks all work well together and just gives this record so much bags of energy and makes it a true catchy and upbeat pop classic and Madonna delivers so well with her vocal abilities which really shine between each tune. She has really shown her true potential with this record.
Most of the tracks are very popular, catchy and till this day many of her songs can still be heard from time to time. Holiday, get into the groove, papa don't preach, and who's that girl are very cool, funky and dancey tracks and just makes you feel like dancing non stop to the beats. Her songs are quick, danceable tunes that are occasionally "controversial" but never set out to change the world. She always delivers good songs and is sure to be around for many more years to come as there is just not stopping the queen of pop.
Overall on this final note I am so glad that I managed to buy this album as it was worth every penny of my money. I have had my album now for a few years and listen to it quite often and never get tired of it which is why it is one of my favourite albums to date. Each track is unique and Madonna has such a great voice and the image to match. I would recommend this album to anyone and of any age as her music is ageless and still lives on till this present day.
