If you are looking for a one stop book to see you through the whole time then this is definitely for you. Generally I always find that there are books for preganacy and then there are books regarding how to deal with the first year but not many are combined so this is a good book for that.
The first section of the book has a really good nutrition section for the expectant mother. I found this to be quite comprehensive compared to some other books I have read. 'Immortality' and Kundera deserve all the mighty praise that is heaped upon them. From previous reviews you might already know I am a big fan of this author's work. I think his style is unique and poignantly beautiful, and I have not come across an inch of text of his so far that was not worth reading over and over. And so much of it is acutely funny in a really unobvious way. This offering dwells less on politics than some of his other works. There is as ever though the pervading philosophical theme, a quest for enlightenment of some sort. Kundera pulls us into this spiralling journey and we strive for the answers with him ...

When Savage Garden announced their split in 2001, many fans were undeniably distraught but found solace in the fact that lead singer, Darren Hayes, vowed to carry on with a solo career in the music business, in spite of being without band mate ? the very talented musician, Daniel Jones. However, this solo career of Hayes has, for the most part, been lacklustre; although fans of SG have stuck behind him, through a fairly rubbish debut, homosexual marriages and race allegations, his work has never been recognised as mainstream or as commercially successful as it was as a part of the duo.
