Advantages: Relaxed and lovely
Disadvantages: Expensive and not a huge amount to do

. Based on the idea of evolution rather than revolution the gardens have developed slowly over time, always with an eye on retaining its historical character. Tivoli is a pleasant place to visit but doesn't really justify the expense of the entry fee plus the additional costs for all the rides and attractions. Eating and drinking here is also expensive, even by Copenhagen's impressive standards. I found the gardens small and lacking in open spaces, it isn't a place that's easy to relax in. Perversely the rides manage to be out dated without retaining period charm, unless you hanker after early 80's rollercoaster's. Wonderful, wonderful Copenhagen

Advantages: Lots to do, easy to navigate, friendly people
Disadvantages: Very Expensive

on the lake. We sat with a drink at the Faergekron Restaurant which sits on the lake and - what a sight, we had front row seats! All around the grounds coal fire pits are dotted , very welcoming to warm the old fingers on a cold Copenhagen winter night. The range of gifts and decorations on sale for Christmas were excellent and also suprisingly of good value. I was really impressed with the 'Christmassy' look of the decorations on offer, really traditional and beautifully made, we were surprised at first to see lots of decorations in the shape of pigs but the pig is to Danes like our turkey at Christmas. Denmark is not the cheapest country iN the world, so be prepared to pay slightly more for your food than in an average 'theme park'. Copenhagen made a warm impression in my heart

Advantages: Warm atmosphere and more
Disadvantages: Watch out for bad restaurants and crowds!

the plates isn?t gold plated! Prices were amazingly cheap. Warmly recommended with all my heart. Full at stomach and tired in head and legs we stumbled into our hotel room and slept well. Copenhagen made a warm impression in my heart and I recommend it to anyone in any age or with any marital status. ...
