Advantages: Contains all the best tracks from the film Disadvantages: When i think of one il post one!
...hips shaking. It's a song about lovers but its one that gets you moving. It's actually from a part of the film where Babys sister goes to her holiday romance to make love for the first time and finds him in bed with someone else! But it won't fail to get you dancing and smiling! This is most definitely the most upbeat track on the album, the kind of song you listen to as you get ready to go on a night out - its one that will get you in the mood.
Blow Monkeys - You Don't Own Me (3.01 Mins)
This track has a very slow sexy introduction, just a Saxophone and gentle drums. The lead singer 'Dr. Robert' has a very sexy deep throaty singing voice. The verses are very slow and soulful leading into a catchy chorus. This is another track for the lovers, best played at the end of a night as a wind down track.

Advantages: Great sound and a few truly wonderful songs Disadvantages: Several of the tracks are disappointing, and you miss the dancing!
...many other cast recordings of the last 30 years or so including the recording of 42nd Street's recent revival.
The disc opens with an overture which includes strains of the familiar 'We're in the Money' before opening out to include a huge troupe of tap dancers. On stage, this must have been an incredible sight, and even on disc, the sound of all those dancing feet is truly incredible. Advantages: All songs from film, in correct order Disadvantages: none
...Ultimate Dirty Dancing is one of my favourite CD's, boasting all the songs from the film Dirty Dancing, in the order they appear on the screen. It even has the group sing-song, Kellermans Anthem; despite this being perhaps the weak link of the CD, especially if you bought it for musical reasons rather than after watching Dirty Dancing, if you've seen the film no doubt you'll know the words, and find yourself singing along anyway!
If you've just watched the film and are in a dancy mood, its perfect to put on and dance to - because, as you see in the film, almost all of the songs are excellent to dance along to. Even if you dont feel like dancing, after listening to this for a while you wont be able to resist, especially if you're home alone, with no witnesses!
One track, Shes Like the Wind, is actually sung by Patrick Swayze...
