I first became aware of ?A Million Little Pieces? when a friend started reading it. I didn?t know what it was about at the time, but the frequency with which her face was screwed up in distaste at something she?d read was intriguing. All she told me was that it was the story of a man in rehab which, having recently read and enjoyed ?Dangerous Parking?, the story of a man?s battle with cancer, I didn?t think I?d find as distasteful as she had.
James is 23 and he?s an addict. He?s not addicted to any one thing in particular, merely whatever he can get his hands on. He can claim to be an alcoholic, glue sniffer and having taken drugs from marijuana to crack cocaine and more or less every thing in between. When we first meet him, he wakes up in a plane with four broken teeth, a broken nose, covered in cuts and bruises and with no ...
Advantages: moving, informative, brilliantly written and a first of its kind Disadvantages: only if you get easily distracted it may be quite long or monotounous
This book is a fantastic read and you won't be disappointed from start to finish. The book is both moving and an important/interesting insight into the process of drug use and rehab. It is the only book of its type to describe the process of rehabilitation from the point of view of the patient. Often you will have to remind yourself it is true and that's what makes the book even more of an interesting read. It offers a hugely important understanding into a process which is often a taboo subject. IT does in no way glorify drug use and will be enough to change many peoples view on the subject. Also another amazing feature is the power and skill of the writer James Frey. His writing style is very unique and helps to add to the understanding and emotion of the book. I would highly recommend this book for any reader interested in literary ...

All In One Piece by Jill Murphy
*I thought that I would review this children's book, as a tribute to all those parents who understand just how difficult it is, to get ready for a rare night out.*

Granny lets them do some painting, whilst mum and dad go upstairs to get ready in peace. However?
Luke watches his dad shaving and ends up getting the foam on his trunk. Dad tells him to go away. Whilst Mrs. Large is concentrating on doing her hair and make up, she doesn't see baby ...
