Album Notes: Black Flag: Herny Rollins (vocals); Greg Ginn (guitar); Kira (bass, background vocals); Bill Stevenson (drums). Recorded at Total Access, Redondo Beach, California. Though the band didn't officially break up until 1987, 1985's IN MY HEAD was Black Flag's last studio recording, as well the last release to feature longtime drummer Bill Stevenson, who left shortly after these sessions to rejoin the Descendents and later form All. Capping two years of exhausting productivity--four studio albums, a live album, and an instrumental EP--IN MY HEAD finds Stevenson, singer Henry Rollins, bassist Kira Roessler, and guitarist Greg Ginn moving back toward straightforward punk after a period spent exploring jazz-tinged heavy metal. Neither as manic as the band's earliest material or as sluggish as the fruit of its metal-thud era, the 12 songs on IN MY HEAD are mostly mid-tempo rockers with plenty of room both for Rollins' political broadsides and Ginn's metallic solos. The album is also more cohesive than most Black Flag LPs.
Advantages: Punk! The best BF album. Disadvantages: If only Henry was still this good!
...Story 1:32
Probably one of my other favourite songs on the album! Just completely sums up the whole Punk vs. Police scene in 80's America.
Gimmie Gimmie Gimmie 1:47
This is a catchy one, and one of their older tracks.
Depression 2:28
Love it! BlackFlag just comes out of no where from their feedback, and the chorus is brilliant! 'Depressions got a holda me!' A very, very energetic track. I can just picture Henry shouting his head off to this when I listen to it!
Room 13 2:04
One of the less strong tracks on the album, song structure doesn't really alter much through out the song. Nice bit towards the end though.
Damaged II 3:23
A great track, Gregg shows off his excellence 'trippy' guitar playing again here. One of the more obscure songs. Completely breaks down in parts to noise, then comes right back atchya...

Advantages: good heads for mobilo bricks Disadvantages: None
...Let me tell you about the Mobilo family we have at work. This family is a black ethnic family. A mother, a father, a girl and a boy.
This family have much fun playing with the children they are plastic heads .and blocks.
There are two families that you can buy from Mobilo this ethnic one and a white family too, in fact you can buy them both together for racial harmony. The picture dooyoo has used is of both white and ethnic family in this ethnic set you do not get the white heads as well
What you get in this ethnic family set is the 4 heads each head is broken with eyes nose and mouth, a neutral expression. They have dark hair. They come with two single mobilo cube blocks one yellow, one blue. Then there is a double red block. The yellow cube has a bell in it. I guess that could represent the baby of the family.
I have not...

Advantages: It was time for a clear out anyway. Disadvantages: OMG! Where did all that come from?
...Okay. Why did I decide to do this challenge? I have read a few of these handbag ones and thought there was nothing inmy bag apart from the essentials and a few bits of paper. That's until yesterday when I dropped it on my foot and made my mind up to have a clear out. Now, I live by the rule that you should never look in a woman's handbag. I don't know why - indoctrinated principle or something but here's a sneaky peek into my bag. Settle down this might take a while.
This is in no particular order - given that there's no particular order to this stuff.
Shall I start with the bag? It's black, some sort of cottony fabric with a soft sheen, it has no branding or labels and I can't remember where I got it. I found it in the back of the wardrobe. It has a concealed external front pocket, a main area and a small internal zipped...
