Review of In My Own Words - Ne-Yo

In my own words: 'Neyo is fabulous!'

Advantages: Great album, RnB, different tracks, ballads, dance tracks
Disadvantages: None

This young man is multi-talented - from his smooth vocals and singing, his music writing and his dancing...another RnB artist I am a huge fan of! I have every album he has released so far and they're all fantastic. 'In my Own Words' is Neyo's debut album. Prior to getting the album release, I'd listened to the singles 'So Sick' and 'Sexy Love' which are my two favourites from this album and I still listen to them occassionally. The lyrics, the voice and vocals are great and the tunes of these two tracks are very catchy and grow on you quite easily, you can't fail to like them:) Other great tracks on the album include 'When You're Mad' which has a great video too (you should watch it as it showcases some of his dance moves..), like 'Get Down like That' as it has really interesting lyrics and is pretty cool, 'Time' showcases his ...

He has great talent and potential and his fab second album proves this as well. Unfortunately, there are many songs that are unneeded on this album and would have been best to get rid of. This is the same with the second album. NeYo needs to learn which of his stuff is good and then again not so good. The good songs on this album are outstanding, but the bad ones are shocking. The best songs on this album are Sexy Love and So Sick. These have a whole lotta soul. NeYo?s vocals are beautiful ...
