Advantages: Incredibly addictive read. Interesting story and characters Disadvantages: If not pre-warned about it the second part could seem WEIRD!
THE very first novel of Arthur Conan Doyle to introduce, back in 1887, the character of Sherlock Holmes, destined to become the most famous fictional detective of history.
Surely many of you have read this book already, perhaps some of you have never read Sherlock Holmes at all... well it's never too late. I just started reading Doyle few months ago and I already love it!
---------------------------------Teaser Plot---------------------------------
I don't want to say too much about the plot but enough to interest those who haven't read this book just yet:
So, it's London 1881, John Watson, a medical doctor, is just back from the Afghan War, where he served as a field doctor, with a wounded shoulder (wound that in later stories will move to the leg but we forgive Doyle for this little mistake) and is looking for a decent ...
Advantages: Suitable for all skin types - particularly oily/combination and teenage. Disadvantages: Price?
.
The regaining control of my skin was a major factor in my continued use and the new appearance of my skin improved my confidence dramatically. On the odd occasion when I have run out, or forgotten to take it with me, and have had to use another cleanser, my skin definitely suffers.
I also use Skin Repair Light Moisturiser (oily/combination skin) and Skin Repair Moisturiser (oily/combination skin) as they moisturise without being oily.
The price for a 200 ml tube is £20. Although this may seem expensive at first, a little goes a long way and a tube easily lasts more than one month. I have used both the web site and the London shop ...
Advantages: removes all make-up, including eyes, leaves skin moisturised but not oily. Disadvantages: none!!!
I first tried this cleanser after recommendations from my mum and my friend who are both QVC addicts. I was unsure about paying the price (about £11) for a cleanser when I had generally bought cheap high street cleansers in the past for about £5 maximum. But as my mum was so impressed by the product she bought me one to try.
I was hooked!!
The texture of the cleanser is like a face cream (but not oily) and glides on beautifully, easily removing grime and ALL makeup and I wear a full face of make-up every day (not quite as effective on waterproof mascara but with a bit of cojoling it will remove it). My skin is left feeling smooth and moisturised and although I always use a moisturiser too, this is the first cleanser I have used which would allow me to go without a moisturiser and not end up with dry, tight feeling skin. I tend ...
